My sister picked up her chopsticks first, but couldn't move on as it didn't suit her palate, and I lost my appetite when I saw the food being presented. I couldn't eat anything at dinner, and I called to ask for white rice and pickles, but the white rice was soggy like porridge and inedible. My sister declined breakfast as we were unable to take a bath while visiting the hot springs, but we were hungry and had time before our train the next day, and there were no restaurants nearby. The breakfast was generally salty and far from tasty, and I felt truly sorry for my sister who had invited me. The room didn't lock, the keyhole just turned round and round, and even though they explained how to lock it at check-out, it was too late. When I told them that the meal contents were different to the photo on the website, they said, "Oh, that's just an image," and it must have been a scam! All in all, it cost over 50,000 yen for two adults, and it was an incredibly painful stay."
