"Well located with private, quiet beach. Bar tenders very friendly & all employees are English speakers. Breakfast was good but limited. Two things to recommend: wifi did not work which is not expected in this kind of hotel & there is a fee for towels which is strange for being a resort. Other than that we had a great time, thanks!"

"We traveled through the cities of Sicily, and this hotel became a convenient one-night stop for us exactly under the format of relocation. The hotel is located right next to the railway station and it was a decisive factor for us. We arrived in the evening, left things and immediately went on a walk in the night Modica. To the historic center about 15 minutes walk, we reached about 10. In the morning after leaving, the suitcases were left on the respiratory, quietly walked through the day town, and then took the things and went on. The rooms are spacious, in excellent condition to get really nowhere. The view from the window comes out on the railroads, but the sound isolation is excellent: no noise we heard. The staff is very polite and friendly, always ready to help with baggage, questions and organizational moments. The only minus breakfast. It turned out to be weak but we are making a low season discount: during our stay we were the only guests for breakfast and did not start to reduce the rating because of this moment. In general, this is an excellent option for a short stop, especially if you travel through Sicily by train and want to be conveniently accommodated without climbing to the mountain and excess logistics."

"Stacci Rural Resort is a modern, safe, and exceptionally clean find that served as a perfect base for our six night trip to Sicily. The accommodations were well proportioned and maintained to a high standard, though most guests only stayed for a night or two. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious daily breakfast, which featured a fantastic selection of fresh local produce. Friendly staff made us feel welcome, though it would be helpful if the bar’s daytime availability was more clearly communicated. For those staying longer, the addition of a kettle, chopping board, and knife would greatly improve simple in room meal preparation. Please note that a car is absolutely essential for staying at this beautifully presented rural retreat."

"The location is great and the welcome we received was great ( it feels a bit mean to criticise but need to). This is an olde building next to the cathedral in Modica alta. Essentially the interior has been ripped out and replaced with something ultra modern. Furnishings are cheap and cleanliness is not great (stains on the carpet and mould inThe shower). Getting a beer when we arrived was like appearing in your own episode of ‘Fawlty Towers’. The glass door to the balcony in our room was cracked.Breakfast was very simple, fruit juice served in plastic cups ( not very sustainable). However staff were really friendly. We wouldn’t return."
