First came here in 2017 and loved it so when the chance came to go again this year for an absolute bargain price (£1300 for two adults and two kids half board) we jumped at it. A lot had changed since our last visit including redevelopment of the pool area to include a splash park and it seems as though there is now a lot more rooms too. Check in was easy. We were given a room quite a distance from reception and up two flights of stairs which wasn’t ideal with a low mobility guest - we’d requested a ground floor before arriving but apparently this message wasn’t passed on from the travel agent. Reception tried hard to move us but could only do so on day 2 by which point we thought it was too much effort to move as only staying for a week so we stayed where we were. On the first night the cleaners also took our plastic sheet that we use to protect the bed as one of our children is a bed wetter. I tried explaining this to reception and was pretty much met with shrugged shoulders. No empathy or understanding was shown. Not even when I explained it was their mattress that would now be ruined. They told me they were too busy to find it and it was pretty much ‘what do you want us to do about it?’ - reception often gave the impression that everything was an effort and you were putting them out by having basic requests. Rooms - Spacious, clean, modern. Like the fact the bedrooms are separate to the living and kitchen area. Unlike other hotels we’ve been to, the balcony felt safe and secure. Beds were changed daily and we were always given fresh towels. Food - Repetitive but edible. Always something to eat and a couple of themed nights whilst we were there. Always fish, meat, vegetables, pasta, chips, loads of bread etc. salads, seafood and fresh burgers and hot dogs. Breakfast you could have omelettes and pancakes made much to the delight of our kids. Had to pay for drinks though at dinner which I’d never come across before with half board - not even free water or juice available. Pools - Great. Probably the best bit of the place. The main pool would be busy up until 2 and then after 5. I assume because the Spanish went and had a siesta during this time. We never had an issue getting our sunbeds every day even though we didn’t make it to the pool until 10am most days. The splash park is fun but only really suitable for little ones and up to about 12. There is a height restriction of 1.40. It’s a bit of a trek from reception but we always found it cooler up that end for some reason. The middle pool was much quieter and seemed to be the pool that adults went to have a bit of piece from the other louder areas. We only went to the middle pool once and were met with glares as our kids were splashing about so we left. Lifeguards might as well not be there as mostly chatting up their girlfriends or holiday makers or looking at their phones. Entertainment - Yes all in Spanish (mostly) but we like that. We’re trying to learn Spanish (badly) and this

A very comfortable, clean hotel next to the sea. Lovely sunrises. Good food and lovely staff. Good selection of food for breakfast and dinner with all tastes catered for. Some slightly bonkers (loud) entertainment outside in the evenings but the madness of it appealed to my sense of humour!! Complementary soft drinks in the room fridge which was a nice touch. Overall, highly recommended!

Best Lindalo Hotel - not the best by far If you like cold fried eggs and cold rock hard curled up bacon then you would like it here. If you like rude bar staff who are constantly shouting at one another then you would like it here. On our 2nd day here we received a survey to fill in. I was a bit reluctant at first in completing this then I thought if my truthfulness will help others in future then it is my duty to do so. There is a massive shortage of sunbeds especially in the garden/jacuzzi area. There are only 6 parasols in this area too all of which are broken. Around the other pool area all the sunbeds are squashed up so much so when laying down on these beds you can physically touch the ned next to you and again a massive shortage of parasols. All bar staff except of course Rosa are very rude and seem to shout load at one another whilst working. Most if the food in the restaurant is cold and I actually saw a staff member turning the heat down on some of the food. The salads and sweet areas looked very presentable though. We also felt that the Staff didn't particular treat the English very well and had a tenancy to look after the Spanish people more. When I mentioned all this in the survey I received a reply back which was very unhelpful because nobody listens to you no matter what you have to say hence my letter to Trip Advisor. Hope this helps others should they close this Hotel. Thank you

Just returned from a week's holiday at the hotel having been part of a large group of friends. I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Food was plentiful and varied and accomodation was all we needed but best of all were the staff! So friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Special thanks to Lewis for ensuring there was always enough Guinness at pool bar!... and salvatorie (as we called him as it was easier to remember) and Rosa, but actually all the staff were so friendly. Location was ideal as it was close to beach, bars and restaurants, with bus stop just up the road for a very cheap ride to the old town which should be on the to do list. We were a large group of 40+ so catering for such volume at once could have been a logistical nightmare but you would never have known it! Sad to be home now after such a great week. Well done everyone and looking forward to our return 😉 N+ K

Hotel lovely very clean food not hot enough have to use the microwave staff are all lovely but there is a lifeguard the oldest and fattest one is so rude he shouts at English children and gets away with it he done this so many times and was reported to management but nothing happened he is a bully and should never work with children. Management stick up for him stating it is a language barrier but wagging fingers in peoples faces is rude and violent in any language he lets the whole hotel down would never book again

Read some of the varying reviews about this hotel, decided to book all the same. Don’t bother booking on an All Inclusive basis, as you honestly get treated like second class, an inconvenience to the staff. None of them look happy, if you opt to buy your drinks, they will take the spirit bottle to you with a nice mixer..if you are on AI, they come out with a concoction of god knows what with the next from the tap. The hotel itself? Paid for a sea view and balcony, absolute waste of money, we were looking at the back of the hotel for our “Sea view” the balcony? As people have said it is ridiculously small and we couldn’t use it. This hotel backed on to a golf course, it was at the end of the *****, miles away from shops and restaurants. The pool area was shocking, in fact they need to get the green keeping staff from the golf course to cut the grass, what a mess. To sum up, we rarely ever complain about hotels and restaurants, this one was awful. Find somewhere else where they value your custom. We live in Spain, and have done for 12yrs..worst hotel we have stayed in
