"The Villa Sassolini is an country house, steeped in history, renovated and decorated with exquisite taste by the owner, M. Tani. The house is located in a tiny village in the Tuscan hills, far from the crowds or either Florence or Siena, yet within comfortable distance for visits. The bedroom in which we stayed was fabulous, the gardens are lovely and both breakfast and fantastic dinner are served by the swimming pool. The staff are not only professional, but kind and welcoming."

"I stayed at campiglioni with my mum for my 21st birthday. It was such a beautiful setting for our stay. There were amazing facilities and it really showcased the Italian countryside. Nicola, the host, really made our trip special with incredible recommendations for both food and experiences. The train to Florence was quick and accessible and the wine tasting at the Chianti vineyards was amazing. Would 100% recommend for families or couples."

"Enjoyed 3 nights at this beautiful hotel which achieves a perfect mix of historic charm and boutique, contemporary style. Elegant furnishings and refined vibe. Our Junior Suite was stunning - lovely views and gorgeous decor. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Attentive to my often difficult diet, which was appreciated. Only two negatives - mineral water at €8 was the most expensive we had on our 2 week Tuscany trip and having to pay for a hot breakfast was disappointing given we paid €1,200 for 3 nights. Overall, however, a lovely relaxing stay."

"What a beautiful and relaxing 10 days we spent at Campiglioni. Nicola the host, is so friendly and accommodating and made us feel right at home even when we arrived later than scheduled. Grounds are so inviting and meticulously kept and even had robotic lawn mowers. Every bush and tree was planned out to section everything perfectly. Lavender bushes everywhere giving out such a beautiful smell. Able to pick rosemary, basil and lemon thyme to use for our cooking. We took peaceful morning walks through their vineyard while tasting the grapes. The pool was excellent and very well kept. Breakfast was typically Tuscan and prepared by Nicola’s grandmother. Our room had a kitchenette and was plenty for us to cook our meals. A/C, wifi, stove and fridge all worked well. Nicola is very knowledgeable about the area and provided us with suggestions for visiting the surroundings. Offered free wine tasting at a local wine house and even booked us a day at the beach at a friend’s beach club. Very well placed as a hub to visit other cities. Don’t be afraid of the gravel road entrance as it is typical in Tuscany. Once you drive around to other locations you will see that it’s the same everywhere. We even encountered fox and a wild boar once. There was a wedding when we arrived. It is set on the other side of the pool, far enough that the music was not bothersome but rather enjoyable to sit outside. I will definitely recommend Campiglioni and will go back again A presto Nicola Sandro Canada"
