Staff bardzo pomaga i przyjazny. Zarezerwowaliśmy go, ponieważ nie przebywaliśmy w B&B stronie pub. Wszystkie okrągłe wspaniałe doświadczenie i można polecić tylko, jeśli przechodzisz w ten sposób zarezerwować śniadanie i cieszyć się."

"Pobyliśmy tutaj na wakacjach bankowych w sierpniu 2024 roku. Odwiedziłem rodzinę, aby uczestniczyć w ślubie kuzyna w pobliżu. To było piękne doświadczenie. Pokoje były bardzo wygodne, ciche i uporządkowane. Łóżka były wykonane codziennie podczas naszego wyjazdu. Każdego dnia śniadanie było pyszne. Miałem urodziny, gdy tam byłem i Roz (kierownik hotelu) zrobił mi ciasto, które było delikatne. Dziękujemy Roz i Iain za ciężką pracę, nic nigdy nie było zbyt wiele kłopotów i byliście tak gościnni, wszyscy naprawdę cieszyliśmy się naszym pobytem i chcielibyśmy wrócić."

"We booked a week away as a family and the house suited us perfectly. Plenty of bedrooms- bathrooms and all on one level. The house itself is perfect with good quality furnishings and fittings and we were delighted. Until the third day!! And from then on I have to be honest and say we were , and still are, extremely disappointed. The gas fire in the small lounge was making a very strange banging noise which was getting louder. I phoned for the owner who came to take a look. She was extremely dismissive of the problem asking us what did we expect from a 35 year old boiler. When we said we were worried about it being unsafe she very rudely stormed out of the house saying “ I’ll turn it off then!” We had the rest of the holiday with no heat in one half of the property. I contacted Sykes Cottages on return and asked them to look into this and advise re compensation as we’d paid for a house with central heating and didn’t have any for half of our stay. The owner was and still is very unco- operative asking for photos to prove our point? How she thinks we can do that I don’t know. She is also claiming that we asked her to turn it off which is just not true. As we pointed out we were concerned about the danger of a faulty boiler. We are not a rude or impolite family and don’t expect to be treated in this way when we have paid quite a lot of money to stay in any property. I’m really sorry to have to write all this but have been left with no alternative. If you’re thinking of renting Barnacre just be aware of a very poor and unnecessary attitude from the owner."

"Czwarty pobyt tutaj w domkach pasterza i wszystko jest zawsze idealne. Hots są nienaganne i kochają zapach świeżego czystego łóżka, gdy chodzisz. Łóżka są tak wygodne. Bardzo dobrze wyposażone domki z piekarnikiem i małym lodówką. Jest tam dzienniki itp. zapewnione na gorącą wannę & ogień, a następnie dodatki z pudełkiem uczciwości - bardzo rozsądne ceny. Hots są dobrze rozpowszechnione, dając ci prywatności. Jest również uroczy powitany kosz z mlekem, masłem, chlebem, jamem, herbatą, kawą, gorącą czekoladą & cukier. Nie ma nic bardziej spokojnego i relaksacyjnego niż siedzieć i patrzeć na owcy, owcy, heron, łokci i jęczmienie. Jesteśmy tu absolutnie zakochani i nie możemy czekać na nasz następny pobyt."
