"Our stay at the Connaught House has been nothing short of incredible. Nestled in a city location surrounded by lush greenery this Heritage property is the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived the hospitality of the staff made us feel like honoured guests — almost like royalty! Their warmth and attentiveness added a special touch to our experience. Travelling as a family of four, we had two rooms, both spacious, tastefully decorated, and exuding an old-world charm. The food here is another highlight — delicious, homely, and reasonably priced. Breakfast offered a variety a choices, from scrambled eggs and poha to idki sambar, all of which were fantastic. But the real standout? Their Authentic Marwari Special Thali – AMAZING. A must-try for anyone staying. Overall, Connaught House has been a fantastic experience. It's peaceful, charming, and feels like home. We are already looking forward to coming back!"

"Disappointing stay. The hotel is far from Nakki Lake and the bus stand. While the cleaning staff was good, the management was insincere and unhelpful. Poor service overshadows its cleanliness. Not recommended. Staff starts with, "Sir, aapne garden dekha?" to delay room readiness, but the wait is too long. Cleaning staff is good, but management lacks professionalism."

"We were 4 families with 12 member that too booked through corporate booking. Paid almost 10000/- per night per family. stayed there on 20 Mar 2026 when temperature had fall down to 12 degrees. No hot water available. Worst nightmare experience. Extravagantly charged buffet and offered limited fixed food option by stating gas challenge. Allotted the Vila’s which were under maintenance to make money. Manager to GM runaway from facing the Guest. During Breakfast the hotel was unable to manage 50 Guest at a time. F&B Service was worst taking a time of approx 35 to 40 mins to fill one item. It’s a property where more than 2500/- paid would be foolishness."

"This property could be far better than it is now. Basically it’s living off its past glory, so the staff is bureaucratic, we came after a long drive from Ahmedabad and the staff almost felt like it was interrogating us at reception. The basic rooms are bad, no views and feel like dorm rooms with their prosaic architecture, the more expensive rooms are better but then you have to shell out a lot more which in my opinion is not worth it. Food is alright, the hospitality seems a little tired and longs for fresh energy and warmth. Wouldn’t recommend the place, neighboring Bikaner House is far better value for money. The only advantage here is the location right next to the lake."
