„We had a wonderful stay here. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. They helped us arrange transportation from Harbin to Snow Village & Snow Valley, and also back to Harbin, which made our trip very smooth and stress-free. They also arranged our snow activities at Bear Ridge, so everything was well taken care of. They were very accommodating and even taught us how to throw hot water in the cold weather — such a fun experience! The room was warm and comfortable, even when the temperature outside was very cold. The bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet, which made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was provided every morning and it was delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and truly appreciate the owner’s hospitality. Highly recommended!”

„The soul of this hotel is the owner himself. He really had make the stay memorable and also exciting! The first day of our arrival, we were treated to making tang hulu (for free) that is sold everywhere in this cold city and after that he even demonstrated the making of the fireworks himself! The next day when we book a 雾松岭 (Wu song lin) package, we arrived at 9am there. O our amazement, he’s at the top greeting us, and learnt that that he was there since 7 am accompanying the morning group at sub zero temperature. He actually accompanied all the activities that we did, and also acted as a photographer, taking us to take the best shot! What was the most heart warming moment is that he actually accompanied my daughter who wanted to skid and ran after her afraid that she will fall! Truly impressed by his dedication. Also, we can do the 泼水成冰 （splashing water which turns into ice) activity for free, and was allowed to do multiple time till perfect. This is quite nice, since to our knowledge, some other places charge a price for this activity. At night, we decided to take dinner and he actually is the one that cooks the dinner. While initially we were skeptical about the place, we have decided to write this review to recommend people to patronize this place. While undoubtedly it was cold, our hearts were warmed by the kind hospitality. Very impressive and happy that we had chosen this hotel. For those considering if you should stay in Snow Valley 雪谷, we recommend this place — tip: they can even arrange a bus/ scenic transport to snow town. Very comprehensive service 👍”

„We are a family of six staying at this resort and had a wonderful experience. The host was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The bathroom has hot water, which was very comforting in the cold weather. The resort is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including stunning frozen waterfalls. There are many fun activities available here such as frozen river fishing, ice skating, tubing slides, and more, perfect for families with kids. The resort provides no pork and no lard meals. They cook using vegetable oil and use separate utensils for halal food, which gave us great peace of mind. We ordered fish and vegetables, and the food was delicious. The price was very reasonable, only 312 yuan for 10 pax. For breakfast, we ordered egg fried rice at just 5 yuan per bowl. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable, halal-friendly stay with beautiful winter activities.”

„Big thanks to Sister Qiu for always responding to our inquiries and to the boss, Hongbo, for the warm hospitality and care. We had a very comfortable and fun four-day, three-night stay (Dec 27-30) in Snow Valley. The warm beds, hot meals, and enjoying all the entertainment activities in Snow Valley and Snow Village gave our group of four an extraordinary winter experience. At Xiongling in Snow Valley, we tried snowmobiling, snow tubing, skiing, and snow drifting (super thrilling!). **Friendly reminder**: Please wear sunglasses, a mask, and a snow hat. This will help prevent the cold snow from hitting your face when you're snow drifting. The snow hitting your face is incredibly, unbelievably cold! For the Yangcaoshan itinerary, I recommend buying tickets for the horse-drawn sled and taking the snowmobile all the way up the mountain. Hiking would be a very long and time-consuming distance. For the second half, we opted to hike down to Snow Village, and the snow scenery along the way was absolutely spectacular, perfect for photos. You can also buy a small sled to enjoy some exciting mini snow runs on the way down. **The only drawback**: The shower head in the bathroom had low water pressure, so it took a bit longer to shower.”

„新裝修房屋，設施齊全，環境衞生。很有東北特色的大炕，小孩穿上特色的東北花妖，睡東北大炕。老闆一家人做事認真，待人很熱情，帶我們到附近的山邊轉了轉，能看到東北最高峯，踏着白茫茫的大雪走在林間，有林海雪原之美，真切享受到雪美景緻；早上熱氣騰騰的東北早餐，中午小雞燉蘑菇；門口就能玩潑水成冰、滑雪道、坐馬拉爬犁……在這個冬季居住此地，享受冬景雪趣，讓人留流忘返”

„Service: very good. They reply really fast and really helpful. Before, during and after the staying, they really helpfull. Activity: they prepare activity for free which is tanghulu making and water splash ( which trow water and it turn into ice for great picture) The surrounding: the view is really pretty and it near convinient store and restaurants. Infront of the hotel have place to play snow, it not beside the main road so it safe to play there. U can walk around at night and take pretty picture. Extra service (talk to the owner, not include with hotel price, need to pay extra): 1. we need to eat halal food. Since there no halal restaurant here, the hotel cook for us (lunch & dinner) 2. They help us book transport from harbin city to here and from here to harbin city 3. They help us book the horse ride to watch the scenery”

„After taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village. Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀 They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear. Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time. Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu. Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam. Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼 I wish to come again with my family, and i will stay here”
