The elevator was under maintenance after check-in. They said it would be fixed soon that day, but it was not fixed when I checked out... I asked for a room change, otherwise I would be given the worst room which is far away and small... Emm, it's just so-so"

"Just passing through for one night on our way back from Milan at the NOVOTEL CA GRANDA, so no luck with this hostel, which has no stars. The evening receptionist seemed friendly on the phone after booking, promising us dinner upon arrival and that the restaurant remained open all night and we could eat there at any time. Only, we noticed that at 10 p.m. after our arrival, she left ahead of us, wishing us a good evening and was unable to respond to offer us dinner since it was no longer possible for reasons unknown to us. But we would have understood that something was missing from this Berti hostel, since at breakfast this morning the service was spot on, with dehydrated scrambled eggs, dried bacon, and stewed cherry tomatoes in the shaffing dishes. As for the rest, after that, we no longer felt like continuing; our appetite had given up the ghost. It's another disappointment after the one in Milan. Afterward, we left to return home; our week of Carnival vacation was too much to bear. The next one will give us time to think about our destination, accommodation plans, and budgets. More and more, hotels only offer images that are far, far from the reality on site. Stop selling us dreams; it hurts our wallets. We believe that travel should be a pleasure, not a nightmare, especially in a hotel."
