"We had a lovely stay for two nights at the Lodge. The staff were friendly and efficient. The Lodge and entire setting has been created so well. And there is great attention to detail in the decor, the information leaflet and little signs indicating where things are kept. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and hearing a little history of the place. We walked one of the trails and saw quite a few birds. We would recommend Musangano Lodge as a lovely break away and a place to stopover or enjoy a weekend away. Thank you to Bright and the staff for making us feel welcome.We will visit again. "We camped on the lawn in from of the main chalet. As some of us were elderly we were allowed to use the bathroom in that chalet, as the other ablution is a bit had to reach when you are 60+ and have a knee problem. A small ablution at campers level would really make a stunning, beautiful place just perfect! We had only 2 nights but enjoyed every moment bird watching and walking in the amazing woods. Would love to return one day! Very friendly caretaker and very well behaved dogs."

"Have stayed 4 times in the past year - it continues to be the most reliable hotel option in Mutare for business visits. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are very dated and could use a thorough renovation, but are generally kept clean. The staff at the front desk and restaurant are always very welcoming and helpful. Parking is convenient and secure when driving a car."
