Riverboat Bed & Breakfast ★★★

"I have to disagree with the prior reviews. We have stayed at many B&B's across the south, including an outstanding property in Vicksburg a few nights before. This property is subpar. No amenities provided, not even bottled water. Stayed in upstairs "suite". No lock on door. Furnishings are sad. No coffee maker in room (offered the use of one downstairs). Many lamps and TV powered with extension cords. Bathroom was awful. No shower, instead a hose with shower head attached. However, ceiling above tub so low you cannot standup to use hose. No shower curtain. No toiletries. Instead some random items such as a large bottle of grocery store shampoo, an unwrapped bar of soap (used?), half used tube of toothpaste, and items that appear to have been left by other guests. Every other B&B we have stayed at provided nice individually wrapped shampoo, lotion, soap etc. No counter space around sink. Towels hanging on back of bathroom door that appeared to be used. Did not stay for breakfast. Location is good, but definitely not a 5 star property."

"Przeczytałem kilka recenzji dotyczących czystości hotelu i pokoi przed przyjazdem. Oczekiwałem, co pokazały zdjęcia, jednak myślę, że mam bardziej pozytywny przegląd. Sprawdziłem pościel i łóżko, oba są czyste. Sprawdziłem blaty i wszystko zostało wymazane. Jedynym problemem, który wpadliśmy w to, że 2 żarówki były wyłączone, jeden w łazience i jeden jak tylko wchodzisz do pokoju. Mikrofalowa jest starsza, ale wydawało się dobrze. Łazienka została wymazana, Jednak siedzenie w toalecie nie było. prysznic jest tylko starszy z niektóre twarde plamy wody na kanałku. Głowa prysznica jest odcienia, jak kawałki matusza prysznicowego. To był mój jedyny prawdziwy problem, ale inaczej wydawało się czyste. Nie mogę powiedzieć, że to jest najlepsza, a może to tylko pokój, który dostałem, ale nie jest tak straszny, jak poprzednie recenzje sprawiają, że wygląda. Nie jest „zły”, ale jest w desperackiej potrzebie jakiegoś poważnego TLC."

"Friendly staff and reasonable range of options for breakfast service. Coffee was awful in the room but better in the breakfast area. Being Australian, we are used to espresso and a lot stronger coffee, but the lady assisting at least made an attempt to make stronger coffee.
