„The hotel is very near Nikko station. The staff are friendly and very accomodating. The room is small, but for an overnight stay, the size was sufficient. Booking includes simple breakfast (or bread, coffee, boiled egg, salad) which is good enough. There is also a large supermarket near the hotel. You can also leave your luggage at the self-storage room of the hotel - very convenient. Our room also have a very nice view of the mountains. I would recommend this hotel.”

„Arriving at the train station, I found out the shuttle bus for the hotel wouldn't arrive for another 45 minutes, so we opted to walk there. It takes about half an hour but going uphill in the blazing sun was a bit torturous. The driveway is also very steep, so beware if you have a lot of baggage. Hotel has a wealth of history. It hosted a lot of famous guests in the early 20th century. Modern hotels are sterile in comparison. It's an old building, so is draughty and full of ancient furniture. This may be a turnoff for some but I found it completely charming.”

„Standard exterior and interior design of Fairfield Hotels in all around Japan, that is guest friendly and more sustainable, no gym, restaurant and bar but you can cook frozen food by microwave. Room is not big but good enough for sleeping and rest. Their idea is offering rest place for people likes hiking and natural trails.”

„I had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, with fresh air and a relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the private onsen it was such a peaceful and refreshing experience. Everything was perfect, and I truly enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended!”

„Nikko Station hotel Classic located at a strategic location:-👍 (a) opposite its hotel ( cross the zebra crossing) is the entrance of JR Nikko Station 🚉 ( JR Nikko line 💚) -5-8mins walk (2) clean n neat modern Japanese bed with rather big bathroom (3) morning breakfast is at level one with 24hrs coffee n tea vending machine besides for hotel guests . Hotel guests can enjoy their slow slipping of coffee ☕️ n private chats at private area besides. (4) hotel breakfast is simple but its sufficient for both of us. We simply love to enjoy a big warm bowl of curry rice with hard boiled eggs 🥚 🥚 n some bread 🍞 n toasts. (5) Simply falls in love with its Sukura restaurant its Tempura Don. very delicious 😋👍 although its small . (6) Hotel is conveniently located along a long stretch of shopping streets with another Railway station ( Tohoku station 🚉) nearby. (7) Hotel is very near to Local bus-stop , local buses ,tourist heritage buses n stations.”

The hotel's amenities, including a public bath, mini market, vending machines, and a cafe, covered all our needs. Additionally, evening events added a nice touch to our stay. Its convenient location, easily accessible from the train station via bus, made exploring Nikko effortless. The complimentary shuttle back to the train station upon check-out was a thoughtful gesture, rounding off a great experience.”

„First off, do not trust Google Maps for directions. The directions take you up the alley behind the hotel. The hotel opens on the main street (Hwy. 119 is what Maps indicates). This is an absolutely great little hotel, well located, clean and everything about the hotel I noticed, well looked after. It has a small, functional onsen that I used. I was in their hostel section, a single bed, capsule style. A little tough for a creaky, bad knees, old person like me but a great stay. They have a small, affordable breakfast buffet (Oriental-style) for purchase that is decent with a variety of different dishes. And they have a machine that dispenses excellent, fresh coffees and other beverages. It is a 2-star hotel and I will give it a 5 star rating as a 2 star hotel. Very good little hotel.”

„All the staffs are professional, very service oriented and special mention to the room service is super super prompt! Room amenities are luxurious! Bed and blanket is so fluffy! Breakfast portion is huge and fresh. We were able to use the shuttle service for check in and out, only got a cab at the Nikko train station when we return late at around 7pm.”

„Good things: PRICE, private onsen, ok size of the room, food court right next to the hotel, hot water, ice and vending machines, microwave are available 24 hours. Not good things: location is really soso. It is 20 mins by foot from Tobu Nikko station, but up to the hill🙄 shower is surprisingly located at the balcony, have no idea, how to use it in winter. For me mattress and pillow were extremely not comfortable.”
