"Od kilku lat Hambleton Hall jest jednym z naszych najbardziej szczególnych miejsc, aby świętować imprezy lub po prostu odpocząć. W tym czasie trwało on na swoim krajowym domowym uroku, komfortu, spokoju i doskonałości jadalnej, dla których stary Michelin ideal miejsca warte zrobić z drogi wycieczka do trzymają bardzo prawdziwe. Ta wizyta, aby świętować specjalne urodziny nie było wyjątkem. Jak zwykle wszyscy pracownicy byli witani, entuzjastyczne i znajome, a nasz pokój dobrze wyznaczony, cichy i bardzo wygodny. Pogoda była naprawdę miła i wkrótce usiadliśmy na tarasie, sipping szampana i oglądanie pięknych ogrodów i odległego błyszczącego Rutland wody z swooping Osprys łatwo widać. Wieczorne posiłki były, jak zwykle wspaniale przygotowane dzieła sztuki. Restauracja rozprzestrzeniała się w intymnych jadalniach z widokiem na okna wzmacniała doświadczenie. Szefowie kuchni Hambletona są świetni w tym, że nadal pozwalają na dobry wybór menu, a nie tylko menu smaku i są dostosowywane do specjalnych wymagań żywności. Wszystkie dania wyglądały super i były naprawdę smaczne. Wybitny środkowy kurs ustwaterowania, musselina-naprawiony kwiaciarnia kołnierza szczególnie wiosna do umysłu i głównej najbardziej delikatnej wieprzowiny Iberico i super gotowane Turbot były warte kilka godzin podróży dla każdego! Za niesamowitą konsekwencję i usługę w ciągu ostatnich kilku dekad, Hambleton dobrze zasługuje na najwyższe aklady. Możemy tylko życzyć, aby w nadchodzących latach moglibyśmy przejść przez ten portal wiele razy."

"Loved our stay at The Old White Hart. Beautiful historic building in a peaceful village setting. Breakfast was excellent and the garden is perfect for a quiet drink. Would definitely return!"

"Food is over priced and lacks presentation. The pepsi max from the dispenser was disgusting, no fizz and lacked flavour, clearly running as weak as possible. It was changed but the replacement was still undrinksble. All in all, we will not being returning!"

"We’ve been coming here for the last four years and, unfortunately, this was by far our most disappointing visit. The complex is now under new management, and it really feels like standards have slipped. The golf course was in terrible condition and looked very overplayed. The greens had just been treated, so it does look like they are trying to improve things, but overall the course was nowhere near the standard we’ve experienced in previous years. The rooms were nice as usual, and the food was okay, as was breakfast. They’ve also clearly tried to make the bar into a nicer space, but the experience was let down by the lack of drinks available. Out of six beers advertised, only one was actually available — and that was a 3.5% lager, which then ran out as well. For a golf complex, that really isn’t good enough. The venue is now also cashless, which is another change that I wasn’t impressed with. It’s a real shame because we’ve had some fantastic weekends here over the years, but unfortunately we won’t be returning. Hopefully the new management can turn things around, because the place has a lot of potential."
