"A fantastic resort hotel! The facilities and service were excellent. The rooms were quite spacious, and although they looked a bit dated, they were well-maintained (the sink drained a little slowly; I'm not sure if this was an isolated case). The hot spring and swimming pool are outdoors, accessible by key card; towels are self-service. If you're driving, the hotel offers self-parking and valet parking, priced at $30 and $65 per day respectively. This ski-in-ski-out hotel has its own lift connecting to other areas of the ski resort, with runs leading directly to the hotel entrance (the runs to the hotel entrance are intermediate, some with snow mushrooms; be aware of this if you plan to ski directly back to the hotel). The hotel has its own ski equipment rental service, and the ski pass machine is right next to the rental area. If you want to go to Village at Palisades Tahoe or the main ski lift, it's about a 3-4 km drive away; the hotel provides a shuttle service, which is very convenient. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you're skiing or vacationing in the area."
