"The staff is incredibly kind and professional and helpful! kudos to being so smiley. The hotel is very modern and sitting right on the water. The restaurant is literally overlooking the ocean and really very nice. It’s a beautiful venue. The rooms are rather small but functional. Aircon worked and the room was clean. Not the best mattress but it was alright for one night. Only downside is the smell of humidity and drainage but this seems common in this part of the world as well experiences that almost everywhere we went. Overall a good experience and very convenient to sleep at before doing the whale sharks and also near the ferry terminal to go to Panglao. Just a tip, if you’re a person with mobility issues please ask them to give you the ground floor room as there is no elevator access to get upstairs."

"Our family stayed at this hotel for 5 days at the end of March and we were very happy with our experience. It's a very quiet and cozy hotel right on the ocean, with a fantastic view from the dining area. Our room was small, but the beds and mattresses were comfortable. There was always hot water. The room windows faced a shared corridor, but this wasn't an issue for us; we enjoyed the sea views from the common area while sipping on complimentary coffee or a glass of rum. The dining area is equipped with dishes (plates, mugs, cutlery) and a refrigerator where you can store food and drinks, plus ice is always available in the freezer for beverages. There's no stovetop for cooking, but you can order takeout from a nearby restaurant through the hotel, or bring your own food. You can also rent a motorbike at the hotel for 500 pesos per day. The owners are incredibly warm and helpful people, always ready to assist. Upon arrival, they arranged our airport transfer from Cebu for 5000 pesos. They also organized tours for us to see whale sharks (1000 pesos/person for the ticket), Sumilon Island (500 pesos/person), and Tumalog Falls (6 pesos/person for the ticket, plus 500 pesos/person for transportation). We were very pleased with the tours and the guidance, a big thank you to Baby, the hotel owner, for organizing everything. We decided to visit Moalboal independently, which turned out to be quite easy. The bus stop is located next to a 7/11 store; just wait for a light green bus and take it to the final stop, Bato Terminal (60 pesos per person). From there, transfer to another bus heading to Moalboal (138 pesos per person). Once in Moalboal, take a tricycle to the beach. We used D'Greco Hotel as a landmark; it's right on a beach where you don't need to pay to swim with sardines and turtles – you just walk into the water, swim out to the reefs, and enjoy. The tricycle ride to the hotel cost us 200 pesos for three people. Before entering the coastal area, there's a tourist fee of 25 pesos per person. Near our hotel, there's a tour desk where we booked a canyoneering trip to Kawasan Falls, and it was unforgettable! It cost 1900 pesos per person and included lunch. Overall, we loved it. Returning to Ocean View Lodging House in Oslob felt like coming home. The owners were happy to see us back. The next day, we were scheduled to go to Panglao, and Baby, the owner, booked our ferry tickets for us. All in all, our impressions of the hotel and its owners are overwhelmingly positive. An excellent hotel for an excellent price."

Planowali również wycieczkę na Sumiron Island z pick-up i drop-off. Wyspa Sumiron była bardzo piękna i to było najlepsze doświadczenie. "Run away! I was completely fooled by the photos, just keep walking. The rooms are like aquariums, directly facing the sun, with a noisy and, of course, insufficient low-end air conditioning unit. On top of that, we received a terrible welcome, which is very rare in the Philippines. Then there was no water in the room, and when it did come, the pressure was extremely low. The mattress was worn out, there was dust and cobwebs on the door, and cigarette butts and a decomposing cotton swab on the terrace. The pool had green water that was being treated, which was supposed to take a day but was still ongoing when we left. The hotel is located right next to a very busy road, so you feel like you're sleeping on the side of the street. We were able to get a non-aquarium room without hot water, but at least the AC was more effective there. No fridge, no kettle, and they charge you 10 pesos for a glass of hot water. No soap and no shampoo, and I didn't even bother asking for the price of soap."

"The room is to tight on family room. They use bunk beds like a boarding house. The staff not attentive and worst thing they leave us on the dining area, orders served to late and food salty and not tasty. Lobby and dining area is clean and presentable. When we arrived the hotel at 4 pm the room is not ready to stay. Parking space good for 3 vehicles only at a time. Since along the high way you can experience loud noise vibration coming from big truck passing by the area. Not worth it to stay especially large family, they can't accommodate and serve you well. The staff mostly hiding on the kitchen,front desk staff sometimes you can't find. Based on our experience here I won't recommend this place for family more than four pax. Take note always ask if you book a room. Always choose room facing the ocean. Because room facing the high way, you can't see nothing. No window. The place is no nearby convenient store or restaurant. Is very far from the commercial centre and far from whales shark watching area. Bathroom no hot shower, stuck up drain from shower. We are so disappointed during our stay here. When we arrived we expect good service because the ambiance of the lobby is aesthetic design. Modern structural design. They amenities it not good for kids."

"We lived with a friend in an ordinary room of this guest house for one day. I counted 3 rooms on each of the two floors. On both floors there is a sitting area in the hall, which is pleasant, but in the heat it’s impossible to be there. Shared bathroom and shower. There were no other guests on our day, so we didn’t feel any discomfort. There is nothing extra in the room - a bed, table and chairs. Minimalism. Location - on the outskirts of the village, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the sharks, maybe a little more. There was hot water. The bed is excellent, comfortable. The air conditioner is not a window type, split, quiet - this is a rarity. +1 point for the air conditioner. For me, our number was a stretch of 3, but the price tag was appropriate. Overall a good economy option"

Jeśli chcesz zepsuć rodzinne wakacje, to jest to miejsce. Och... Co za okropne doświadczenie z kierownictwem hotelu. Zarezerwowałem przez Trip.com, ponieważ była opcja bezpłatnego anulowania, ponieważ podróżowałem z dzieckiem i lubię być elastyczny w kwestii harmonogramu. Zarezerwowałem pobyt od 22 do 25 grudnia. Jednak nasze plany się zmieniły i poprosiłem o anulowanie, jednocześnie rezerwując od 22 do 24 grudnia, ponieważ byłem całkiem pewien, że pierwsza rezerwacja zostanie anulowana, a pieniądze zwrócone, ponieważ zazwyczaj dobre agencje, takie jak makemytrip i inne, robiły to w przeszłości za nas. Bardziej skupiałem się na anulowaniu rezerwacji niż na spędzaniu czasu z rodziną, bo chodziło o anulowanie 1220 SGD, czyli czyjejś miesięcznej pensji w Singapurze (chciałbym przekazać tę kwotę na cele charytatywne, a potem oddać ją oszustom). Rozmawiałem też wielokrotnie z recepcjonistką, aż do dnia wymeldowania. Kiwali głowami z przekonaniem. Teraz obsługa hotelu i Trip.com powiedzieli, że nie mogą zwrócić pieniędzy, bo anulowanie nastąpiło w ostatniej chwili. ********, przepraszam. Moje pytanie brzmi: skoro to dla Was w ostatniej chwili, to dlaczego wprowadziliście na stronie opcję bezpłatnego anulowania? Teraz Trip.com próbuje ze mną negocjować, dając mi 122 SGD w postaci monet tripcoin. Haha... Żartujesz sobie? Postaram się opublikować tę recenzję na Instagramie, Twitterze, LinkedInie i gdziekolwiek to możliwe. Nie przyjeżdżajcie do kurortu na wyspie Sumilon. Nie jest wart ani waszych pieniędzy, ani zdrowia psychicznego."

Jest wycieczka do wody, ale kąpiel nie jest wygodny, nie ma plaży, tylko kamieni. W tym samym czasie, w tym hotelu zabrali się też inni ludzie z wielkiej firmy. Śpiewali głośno karaoke, chodzą do rana. A od rana włączali głośno muzykę. Jeśli chcesz być cicho, to zdecyduj się. Dom bez szumu."
