Hotel Green Plaza Hakuba
"Hotel Green Plaza Hakuba was love at first sight! The building's architecture and design, combined with the surrounding mountain views and snow, are just perfect. It's beautiful now, but I can only imagine how stunning it would be with fresh, deep snow. 😚😊 - The hotel is located right on the Cortina ski slope, offering true ski-in/ski-out access. They also have rental equipment and lockers available. - There's a kids' zone and both indoor/outdoor onsen (additional charge, tattoos allowed). - The breakfast buffet includes mentaiko (my personal favorite! 😄😚) and the dinner buffet has amazing sushi 🍣. Overall, there's a wide variety at the buffet, and they're punctual about closing. 😄 - For lunch, you can order meals from a vending machine-style system. - The room was spacious, with two single beds and three futon sets. ☃️"
Hotel Sunny Valley
"Hotel jest stary i czysty. Pokój jest o przestronny. Jest blisko Tsugaike School narciarstwa, gdzie można grać podstawowe narciarskie skały. Hotel ma autobus do i z tego parku narciarskiego."
Unplan Village Hakuba
"The price is great, and there's a communal kitchen. The room isn't cramped, and it's super close to the Happo-One Ski Resort gondola—just across a parking lot. It's a shame that most of the restaurants nearby were closed when I came in early April. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend it!"
Hotel Hakuba Berghaus
"Bardzo przyjazne pracownicy, zwłaszcza Nia, próbowała mnie przedstawić do wszystkich żywności.."
Hakuba Tsugaike Ski Slope Side Espoir Misawa
"The hospitality provided by the owners (Aya-san and her husband and son) is incredible. So friendly, helpful, courteous and prompt. The way this place is run is faultless & I cannot recommend Espoir Misawa highly enough. Aya-san herself picked us up from the bus stop and also dropped us off at the end of our stay. Her English is good enough despite her thinking its not so great. Any questions we had were answered with respect, accuracy, and friendliness. It was just so wonderful staying here knowing our comfort is at the forefront of their mind. They have a relaxing lounge in the foyer playing soothing jazz and when I mentioned I'm a jazz musician myself to Aya-san's husband...well! Out came the good stuff and he even swapped the piped Bose speakers to floorstanding speakers which were amazing quality. Espoir Misawa is one of the few places in Tsugaike that have certified onsens. Other accommodations state they have public baths but be warned - that might just be tap water. Here, there are certificates framed on the walls (probably a legal requirement?) stating the date inspected, temp, chemical/mineral makeup et al. The genuine ski in/out door was fantastic. It really is ski in, ski out. Just a quick few metres down to the lifts or gondola. Ice cold Asahi beer from the vending machine for only 350 yen! Awesome! I really don't want to be critical when the hospitality was just well beyond expectations but here goes. 1. The mattresses were quite hard and old. New, pillow-top mattresses would go a long way towards making the rooms (at least, the western rooms) more comfortable. 2. The towels provided were an odd fabric - I think microfibre which were utterly non-absorbent. Towels have 1 job - to dry. But they didn't. Also they had been washed in a decent dose of fabric softener which might've helped to repel moisture and also gave the room a smell of the fabric softener. Some might like it, some might not. 3. There was no hanging space for said towels. There is a small hanging rail in the room but the length of this could easily be tripled. 4. The room was very hot. As soon as we entered we immediately asked how to turn off the heater. It remained off for our entire stay and even at night we kept the window open a few inches as it was still too hot. This is winter mind you! 5. Not important but it would be a nice gesture to provide a yukata for popping down to the onsens. All in all, a really fantastic stay and many thanks to Aya-san and her family for such warm hospitality. We'd come back again if points 1 & 2 above were addressed."
Resort Inn Marion Shinano
"Cleaning is done once every 3 days, facilities are average, and the room is a bit cold. The location is good, very close to the cable car."
Ha-Mon
"It is right next to the Mei Chi Plateau ski resort, you can ski in and out, the room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the first floor is dedicated to storing ski equipment. You can order simple meals in the restaurant, and there is a small soup for you to soak in."
Apprising Hotels GranJam Tsugaike
"Pobyt w Nagano przekroczył nasze oczekiwania. Hotel jest minuty spacerem do narciarstwa. Pokoje są przestronne i tradycyjne łóżeczka i mieli wspaniałe widoki na góry. Tak dobrze, aby mieć onsen w hotelu po narciarstwie. Pracownicy byli super przyjazni i pomagali. Nie mogę się doczekać, aby wrócić! 👍"
Yamakyuso
"It was a very bad experience. I was told upon check-in that breakfast and dinner had to be booked two days in advance. I had not received any relevant notice before. There were also few restaurant options around there. They did not even help with the luggage at all. A very unpleasant accommodation experience. Do not recommend booking this. The landlord also refused to communicate in English."
