Very good ambience, nice scenery. Well organised. We stayed in Lilac, facing mountain view. Toilet big. Perhaps can have a basket to hold the hair dryer besides toilet plug. . Breakfast is good. Besides toast, they serve each occupant a set tray of baked chicken with veg and fruits. They also provide Alishan tea variety to let occupants sample Alishan tea at breakfast. Perhaps can put in room as well. Good marketing for Alishan tea. Free flow of hot and cold water just outside room at the community hall. So save you the trouble to boil water. Thermo flask and lukewarm water also provided in the room.

It is the best place we have stayed in our Taiwan trip.My husband and I have enjoyed so much the time while we stay there.It is clean, and well decorated to make it as cozy and warm as possible.we were so relaxed and happy there. This is the ideal hotel for Alishan hikers! The staff is incredibly helpful and provided us with a complete itinerary for the area. We were particularly impressed when they called every room to announce the updated schedule for the first Alishan railway run to catch the sunrise. While the room is small, this is understandable given the National Park setting.

Hotel was nice, cosy and very comfortable. The room and the bed was huge and amenities were spot on. The only downside is the location of the hotel which is quite far from the Alishan Recreation Area. Guests can however book the shuttle bus service from the hotel website for transfers between hotel and Alishan/Fenqihu. A photo of the bus is attached for future guests’ reference.

The property is located off the Alishan highway and nestled within a tea plantation near Fushan. It is not anywhere near any amenities, nearest one is at Shizuo about 10+km away. Rooms are very clean and well kept, you can expect breathtaking views if you have a room with a balcony on the top floor, lower floors will have little or no view into the mountains. The area around the property is mainly tea plantations and farms, good for a short afternoon’s exploration before dinner.

Excellent hotel, large rooms above expectations, the room was clean(not perfect) and well-equipped, underwent basic cleaning, received water and clean towels every day. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful in everything (including ordering food and recommendations for attractions). Located a few minutes walk from 7 eleven. There is a washing machine in 3 floor and a free parking

Don’t get me wrong f, there’s a wonderful Old school charm about this hotel and the staff are very nice, I loved sitting g down for a fresh brew of oolong while we discussed our future plans. But little thi ga like bins not emptied and having to request clean cups is something I do t want to have to do. Its location is beautiful but you need to plan your trip well as it’s midway through a bus route and getting to other places can mean standing room only or sometimes simply not available (we needed a private car To get back to Chiayi hsr) But it’s a nice place with an old school charm and friendly helpful staff. Do t forget to check out the rooftop area… worth it!

Zarezerwowaliśmy 2 różne pokoje na 1 noc. Ogólnie jest to super wygodne i dobra lokalizacja w Alishan. Oferują najrozsądniejsze ceny w okolicy. Jeśli zatrzymujesz się na 1-2 noce, gorąco polecam. W jednym z zarezerwowanych przez nas pokoi dostaliśmy pokój o podwyższonym standardzie. Wygląda na to, że pokój o podwyższonym standardzie został już wcześniej odnowiony w porównaniu z pokojem rodzinnym. Ogólnie jesteśmy zadowoleni.

After reading horror stories on google reviews, as well as on this platform, I thought I had wasted my money. However, the opposite appeared to be true. The room was clean, including the bathroom (little to no signs of mold at all in my room). The room even came with a functioning sauna, which was a very nice way to relax after a long cold day. Front desk asked me if I wanted a wake-up call which I gladly accepted - and they actually did provide the call. Though, setting your own alarm is not that difficult either. Yes, the bed has a very hard mattress, but this is quite common for 2 to 3 star hotels in Asia. Yes, the water is only hot between certain times, but it's still warm enough after it. The only true downside I experienced is that you can indeed hear everything from the neighbors, but then again, you only have 1 neighbor. All-in-all, this place was well worth it given the scarcity of rooms/hotels in this area.

Location is very central to the park which is the biggest plus point for the hotel. It came with a basic breakfast ( it’s okay to skip if your timing doesn’t fit). The room is small but is consider pretty standard in Taiwan. Staffs are helpful and friendly and you can arrange tour in the hotel. Water pressure for shower is good but the temperature seems like is dependable on other users, so it can be very hot and cold. The room is warm with a dehumidifier. The bed is quite hard but usable. Sound proofing is insufficient, we can hear next door brushing teeth and shower in the middle of the night. Though for the purpose of staying in the Alishan, I would say it would still be a reasonable pricing and stay because it is likely it is a short stay.
