In my opinion, this hotel is very close to the Xiaoshizi Station where there are many tourism spots in Chongqing like Hongya Cave, Yangtze Cable Railway and much more others. Also, the jie jie is also very kind and very helpful, she gave us a few recommendations on where to go and eat good food in Chongqing. This hotel or apartement is also very close to restaurants that are very cheap but also very delicious. It is very clean, in our experience on staying there, there is no bugs or even mosquitoes. And even though it is an apartement, but they have a cleaning service, where they clean our room everyday. And lastly, the room has 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, even with a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a washing machine with a room on its own and even a balcony which we can wash and dry our clothes, it even has a drying rack and it is automatic with a remote. We really love the classic and simple vibe in staying in this apartement. We really had a great time staying at this apartement or hotel!

I had a wonderful stay at Accolade Hotel Chongqing. The location is fantastic and very convenient — it is only about a 5-minute walk to 云端之眼 (Eye in the Sky Observation Deck), which makes sightseeing very easy. The customer service team was excellent. When we first arrived and were still getting used to the room, the staff were very caring, patient, and helpful. Their warm hospitality made us feel very comfortable. The room was very clean and well maintained. There was no dust, the toilet was spotless, and you can tell the hotel is quite new. The room is also spacious with a great view, making the stay even more enjoyable. Considering the quality, comfort, and location, it is definitely worth the value. I truly appreciate all the staff for their excellent service and hospitality. I will definitely come back again on my next trip to Chongqing. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this hotel!! It is in the perfect location - actually in the same building as the observatory deck, so very convenient to dress up and go up to take some sunset and night pictures with the skyline. They have laundry facilities and provide soap. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. They don’t provide normal linen bath towels but instead provide disposable towels which is more hygienic. The girl at front desk was always smiling and happy to help. Other commenters says there is poor soundproofing and the A/C is loud but we didn’t feel that way in our room. We stayed for 6 nights and we are very satisfied. We got a normal city view room and still saw a bit of the river, but I saw the view from one of the river view rooms and it was beautiful! Splurge and get the river view if you can.

The location and hotel itself is very nice. We booked the most expensive room with panoramic view. In the morning, due to our schedule we had to leave early at 7:00am… we asked simply for 2 coffee and 2 boiled eggs or some pastries take away, having the breakfast included in the price of the room. The answer has been “we only have you coffee cause our breakfast start at 8:00am”… so you wanna tell me that the chef, if the breakfast start at 8:00, at 7:00 is not in the kitchen preparing the food?!? I believe anyone can do 2 boiled eggs… even the ladies who received us in reception. The attitude was very bad. We asked for an adapter… they said “we don’t have”. The service was really terrible.

Beautiful property with Michelin quality. Love Sunyata Ren-ai’s modern architecture and interior designed around its history. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed yet highly functional - a rarity for heritage hotels. For instance, the standalone mid-century wood wardrobe reminds you of what a priest would have in his room yet it opens up with plenty of storage and is lit internally. There are no awkward corners on the property, and space is strategically used and designed with a gorgeous mix of textures and colours.  Extremely hospitable service - hotel staff are wonderfully helpful and reach out ahead of your stay to follow up on details. That was how they found out my luggage had burst from a faulty zip and way too many books - immediately arranged for additional person to be on standby with a box for the books. During the stay, they worried about whether i needed extra binding for the luggage and then also had 3 colleagues on standby on checkout to help me bring my stuff out (xiaofan, ningning and xiaogan) who waited by the street with me to see me off. Honestly they were more worried than i was! And this is the pinnacle of hospitality where hotel takes greater ownership on addressing and pre-empting your concerns.  Room inclusions are great:  1. Breakfast is set in a beautiful restaurant in a stone basement. Selection is small but competently executed. The noodles are perfectly seasoned, fruits are fresh, coffee strong. 2. Afternoon tea - i had thought they would casually bring out the usual scones and sandwiches the kitchen was going to make on the fly, but it came instead with a choice of coffee and their desserts on display for sale. This means you get an intricate dessert - for free! 3. Supper - given my work and flight itinerary, i ordered in their complimentary supper, delivered at 9pm. again, not a matter of leftovers. They brought in beautifully plated 4 dishes for both nights, balanced in terms of staples, taste, texture, which is sufficient to satiate you without overfilling you for the night’s rest. 4. Photography - we all know the prowess of Chinese photography. i was apprehensive as i’m usually behind the camera and i wasn’t dressed for the occasion nor had professional makeup - the 3 weeks of non-stop work commitments showed! However, the energy and kindness of the photographers made the session really enjoyable, and not to mention the hotel provided an unmatched background for phototaking. They also edited the photos within an hour for you to choose from - you get the first 5 free, but you’d be tempted (AND PLS DO) to choose more. In terms of location, this is a destination hotel, blending beautifully in Mountain City Alley, with all the modern creature comforts. You wake up in the morning to empty walkways, interrupted only by birds and curious cats. The street livens up to little shops selling trinkets, vintage pieces, coffee (many of them), clothes and snacks. In the evenings, the light warms to an orange hue and you watch the sunset over the city in the quiet of your room. Mountain City Alley is not (yet)as commercialised as other ancient towns (each selling the same suite of souvenirs and mala soup base) and each shop had its own personality. Hotel is perched near the peak of the mountain city alley. if travelling by car, you’d need to drop off at Jiashi Old Folks’ Home and take the stairs (5min) down to the hotel which has a discreet corridor next to the church. Hence those with mobility issues - consider yourself warned.  Sunyata is one brand to watch and I’ll be back!

Hotel, w którym tym razem zatrzymałem się w Chongqing, przerósł moje oczekiwania! Największą niespodzianką była lokalizacja. Do Hongyadong można dojść zaledwie w dwie minuty. Wieczorem unikałem tłumów i szybko się zatrzymywałem. Za każdym razem, gdy chciałem coś zwiedzić, mogłem po prostu zejść na dół i zanurzyć się w olśniewającym świetle domów na palach. Nie było potrzeby planowania konkretnej trasy dla taksówek. Widok z hotelu na rzekę Jialing był jeszcze bardziej oszałamiający. W ciągu dnia mogłem obserwować statki wycieczkowe pływające po wodzie, a mieniąca się woda stanowiła kojącą okazję do zrobienia zdjęć. Widok nocny był jeszcze bardziej oszałamiający. Kaskady świateł na przeciwległym brzegu podkreślały sylwetkę miasta, tworząc uderzający kontrast z olśniewającym blaskiem Hongyadong. Siedzenie przy oknie z filiżanką herbaty i podziwianie nocnego widoku było jak relaks po długim dniu. Oprócz Hongyadong, do Jiefangbei i Chaotianmen można łatwo dotrzeć pieszo, oszczędzając czas i nerwy dzięki ciągłemu korzystaniu z taksówek. Na pewno zatrzymam się tu ponownie podczas mojej następnej podróży do Chongqing!

Hotel ma bardzo dogodną lokalizację, a wszystkie pokoje posiadają okna. Wiele atrakcji turystycznych, w tym Hongyadong, znajduje się w odległości zaledwie 8 minut spacerem. W okolicy jest też mnóstwo centrów handlowych, restauracji i miejsc rozrywki, co sprawia, że wszystko jest pod ręką. Transport jest również bardzo wygodny – tuż przy wyjściu z hotelu są dostępne taksówki, stacja kolejki miejskiej oraz przystanek autobusu na lotnisko. Obsługa recepcji jest bardzo pomocna i w razie jakichkolwiek pytań zawsze można się z nimi skontaktować.

Przede wszystkim lokalizacja hotelu jest WSPANIAŁA!!! Wychodzisz za drzwi i jesteś ulicą z jedzeniem ulicznym. Bardzo wygodne, gdy chcesz szybko coś przekąsić. Można nas tam spotkać każdego wieczoru. Więc lokalizacja dobra dla smakoszy. Ale lokalizacja to jedyna rzecz, którą mogę polecić w tym hotelu. Widok z pokoju hotelowego nie jest niczym szczególnym, chyba że wybierzesz pokój z widokiem na punkt orientacyjny, który nadal oferuje tylko widok na punkt orientacyjny, więc moim zdaniem jest to po prostu w porządku widok. Chyba że pokój jest wyżej, wtedy widok będzie lepszy. W przeciwnym razie będziesz patrzeć na punkt orientacyjny i na budynki. Jest tam wirująca restauracja, z której korzystaliśmy przez noc, otrzymując darmowego drinka, ale widok jest ładny. Zobacz zdjęcie dołączone do recenzji, to widok z wirującej restauracji na najwyższym piętrze To młody hotel. Nie tylko dlatego, że jest nowy, ale także dlatego, że pracownicy tam pracują. Młody personel i czasami zauważają brak doświadczenia. Podczas wymeldowania to wariatkowo. Wszyscy (nie w kolejce) przed recepcją, żeby się wymeldować. Próbowałam ustawić się w kolejce, żeby zadać pytanie, a ciocia stanęła przede mną. Powiedziałam jej, że jest kolejka, a ona powiedziała, że ​​musi się tylko wymeldować, a pracownik hotelu przy recepcji pozwolił, jednak ciocia nie tylko musiała się wymeldować, ale miała też pytanie o swoje punkty i zajęło jej to więcej czasu, bo musiała sprawdzić swoje punkty…. Wskazówka dla hotelu: popracujcie nad tym, jak zorganizować wymeldowanie, bo oczekuję więcej od 4-gwiazdkowego hotelu… Kilka innych rzeczy, które zauważyłam w hotelu: - Karta kluczowa nie zawsze działa dobrze w windzie. Widziałam więcej gości, którzy mieli problemy, więc to nie były tylko nasze karty. - Szklane drzwi do łazienki, co może być dość niezręczne! Jesteśmy parą, więc było to dla nas w porządku, ale były naprawdę dość przezroczyste! Nadal było trochę niezręcznie widzieć, jak twój partner robi kupę, podczas gdy ty myjesz zęby, ponieważ umywalka była tuż przed drzwiami…. Wyobrażam sobie, że byłoby to naprawdę niezręczne dla przyjaciół, krewnych lub osób podróżujących ze starszymi dziećmi. Ponadto jest szpara między drzwiami a sufitem, więc zapach łatwo wydostaje się z łazienki…. - Izolacja akustyczna z zewnątrz nie jest dobra. Najpierw zostaliśmy umieszczeni na 14. piętrze (dla przesądnych, tak, używają 14. piętra, ponieważ jest to hotel międzynarodowy. Dla mnie to nie był problem), mogliśmy słyszeć dźwięki z zewnątrz, ponieważ byliśmy w połowie zwróceni w stronę ulicy z jedzeniem ulicznym. W nocy mogło to być trochę denerwujące, gdy zostaliśmy w pokoju, aby się zrelaksować. Później zostaliśmy umieszczeni na 26. piętrze i nie mogliśmy już tego słyszeć. Poinformowaliśmy nasz hotel, że to nasz miesiąc miodowy i ponieważ byliśmy tam na Halloween, dostarczyli kosz z maskami i przebraniami, co, jak sądzę, było spowodowane Halloween. Jednak jako nowożeńcy, którzy poinformowali Cię, że są na miesiącu miodowym, kosz z czarnymi koronkowymi produktami do przebierania się, dał dość dziwny komunikat 😂 czarna koronkowa maska ​​na oczy z koronkowym składanym wachlarzem z tyłu. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, naprawdę podobała mi się lokalizacja i było naprawdę bardzo czysto. Wspólne pralki również nie śmierdziały, ponieważ były nowe. Mają też robota przynoszącego jedzenie. Ale za tę samą cenę, mógłbym wybrać coś innego w okolicy z lepszym widokiem i większymi pokojami. W okolicy jest WIELE hoteli.

I would recommend this place to everyone. It's very convenient for traveling to various tourist attractions. Close to restaurants, convenience stores, and souvenir shops. The hotel service is excellent. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. Perched along the riverside cliffs, the architecture is simply breathtaking, especially at night when the entire complex glows with warm golden lights. The traditional stilted buildings, layered dramatically against the hillside, create a magical atmosphere that blends history with modern vibrancy. From your room or nearby viewpoints, you can enjoy stunning views of the Jialing River and the bustling city skyline. The location is perfect for travelers who want to explore Chongqing’s culture. Within walking distance, you’ll find local street food, souvenir shops, and lively markets. The area truly comes alive in the evening, offering a unique mix of traditional charm and urban energy. Inside, accommodations are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, often reflecting local aesthetics with wooden elements and warm tones. Despite being in a popular tourist area, many stays here manage to provide a cozy and peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. What makes Hongyadong special is the atmosphere—you don’t just visit, you feel immersed in it. Whether you’re sipping tea while overlooking the river or wandering through lantern-lit corridors, every moment feels cinematic. If you’re visiting Chongqing, staying near Hongyadong is highly recommended for anyone who wants a memorable, photogenic, and culturally rich experience.

Overall, as stated by many other reviews, this hotel is the value-for-money champion. Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm. Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle. Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better. Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive! Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers. Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good! Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train. To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.
