„We had such a wonderful time at Voco! The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The views of the lake are gorgeous- especially from the breakfast restaurant and the gym. You can watch the sun set right over the water. The hotel staff members were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there are plenty of options. I do think the restaurant prices for lunch/dinner are a bit high, but the hotel is just a walk away from other restaurants. It’s located on Yangguang Road, right along a running/walking path next to the lake. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Qiandaohu!”

„Once again, another good experience here. This was our second Christmas spent here. The pool was well heated most days and the play area was good fun. Unfortunately the arcade was closed, this was very disappointing as we were not informed, and this was a big part of re-visiting. The other downside is the lack of vegetarian food options, even after some requests, I still found bacon in my food. Very grateful to the staff at breakfast who made requests for meatless food for our children and the ladies at the pool who facilitated all of our sessions. Beautiful lights display, though sometimes a bit loud quite late when children are sleeping. Lovely location, used the bikes for a nice ride along the lake.”

Breakfast could be a bit more Western, but since almost all the guests are locals, they probably didn’t think it was needed. The garden is so big — it’s hard to understand why they couldn’t give the animals a larger, better space.”

„Great hotel for family with children. All the amenities are of good quality. Only problem is that they close the amenities without prior notice. We used pool and gym everyday. But, last day of our stay we paid for late check out because my little boy wanted to enjoy swimming pool in the daytime before leaving, only to find out later that the pool is closed that day (they did not tell us anything when we went to the swimming pool day before ).”

TThe beautiful worldHey there! I just had the most amazing 5-night homestay experience that I can't wait to tell you about! This hidden gem is a perfect blend of stunning natural beauty and modern luxury. The property is surrounded by lush green hills and forests, with breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. The infinity pool is absolutely gorgeous, and the rooms are super comfortable and stylish. Plus, the outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing, and the lighting at night creates such a romantic and cozy atmosphere. But what really made this stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitalizes of staffs. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and cared for. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine concern for our well-being touched our hearts deeply. By the end of our stay, they felt like family to us. The view from my room is incredible. And let’s not forget our amazing housekeeper, Miya. She made everything so smooth and always met our needs. She booked cars for us, arranged a spa day, took care of our food, and did everything else. The spa is a must-try! Room number 2 has a truly amazing view. But the most incredible experience was the firefly release ceremony. As we walked to the center of the island, they provided drinks and food, and the music played. We released all these beautiful fireflies, and it was an unforgettable moment. I’m so sorry I didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the other activities and explore the whole island. I’ll definitely come back and explore next time. This place is truly deserving of a longer stay.

However, it's far from downtown, you'd have to taxi back and forth, anyway it is very easy to get taxis. Service was good, the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was also good, plenty of options.

GGośćThe room was very comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 of us. Unfortunately the weather was against us and rained everyday whole day during our visit and couldn’t go do sightseeing by foot. The “guest bathroom” drain was releasing a very unpleasant stinky smell throughout our visit. Highly recommend to spend a few RMB and buy the drain smell problem solver (see picture attached). Promise it will solve the problem!! Installed it in all our apartments where we lived in China that had the same issue. Our daughter (and us) enjoyed the playroom even though the a/c systems did not allow warm air to heat the room (setting was on hot= 35 degrees Celsius, high speed, but never went over 15 degrees Celsius). Cleanliness could be looked at, lots of human hair lying around. Reception could possibly take an English course to accommodate non-Chinese speakers, but the language translator came in handy. Breakfast was mainly Chinese like. But good variety, shouldn’t go hungry.

AAlexander 压力山大The hotel is located in the best spot in the town, so you you'll find it very convenient roaming around from here. The place is surrounded by the best fish restaurants. There's a bike rental right in front of the hotel. The room was clean is spacious. The shower is awesome in case you need to warm yourself up real quick after a winter walk. I strongly recommend to you to get a round corner room (ours was 2607) with the city view, in this case you'll have a purely magnificent panoramic view on the mountain valley to the Sunset side + city with the night city lights + a part of the lake (check out the photos). The service was great. They brought us fruit as a Chinese New Year gift. We had a late train back to Hangzhou and the weather was nasty outside, they agreed to let us stay until 20:00 for half the price. The TV had a lot of movies in English, so it was great too. Breakfast was a typical Chinese one, but I found something for myself as well and it was enough. The mini fridge was removed from the room for some weird reason, as I understand, since there's a place for it, but that's not a big deal. We had an awesome time staying here and definitely will come here again soon!

CChris606Hotel jest w dobrej lokalizacji w pobliżu jeziora i doków do wycieczek łodzi. Jest on w dobrym rozmiarze basen, ale ograniczone salony słoneczne. Jest trochę budowlanych prac, które przerywa widoki i sprawia, że jest hałasny. Zarezerwowaliśmy pokój widokowy na jezioro, ale nie mogliśmy zobaczyć jeziora z powodu trwającej pracy. Problemem był AC był słaby, co sprawiło, że pokój był ciepły i miało miejsce wyciek wody powodując plamę na suficie. Nie byłbym szczęśliwy, gdybym zapłacił za pokój, ale ulepszenie pozwoliło nam na wielki widok na jezioro. Śniadanie jest dobre, jeśli lubisz chiński styl, ale nie bardzo zachodni. Ogólnie, ’ zostanę ponownie, ale wybierz inny pokój, ponieważ korzyścią jest lokalizacja i dobry rozmiar basenu.

DDomi17We spent 2 nights at Moxy in October during the national holiday period. The price-quality ratio was very high- the room was clean, spacious, with all necessary amenities, and the breakfast had a lot of western and Chinese options to choose from. The location of the hotel is very convenient if driving- it was in the middle point between all the attractions we planned for our stay, and it was right next to a mall with a few dining options. The only negative points are quite loud ac unit outside that creates a low-frequency noise that can bother more sensitive sleepers-my boyfriend woke up with a headache due to the noise. Another thing is the service- we called the reception late in the evening to ask if there are other rooms available due to noisy families staying next door to us; the receptionist said they did have rooms available, but she could not guarantee they would be quiet, so she did not offer to switch the room. I understand you cannot guarantee it, but it wouldn't hurt if you could let us try- it was late and we just wanted to get an early night sleep.

The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.

On the way to the port, there are streets that sell food and ice cream. The room is clean, and the service is good. However, the toilet is a bit small.

TtaynealyPositives: 😁 This hotel 🏨 is GORGEOUS. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t decide which photos to use for my photoshoot because there are so many great pictures. The hotel is perfect for instagram or social media. The service 👨✈️ was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The food 🍱 was delicious! There are many different choices and set options. We especially loved the fried pork. Negatives: 😕 Location 📍you can’t hike or explore anywhere around this hotel. You are essentially stuck to this property. All activities are at least 30min-2 hour drive away. Room design 🛏️ I included this in the photos, the bed is on a wooden stand with sharp edges and it’s very easily to run into it and forget it’s there. My bf and I both hit our shins pretty hard on it, it was painful. Drinks🥂 it was my birthday and I wanted to enjoy some cocktails or champagne with this view, but you are limited to beer 🍺 only. Just bottled Budweiser and Tsingtao. Overall, I’d stay again if I wanted to relax in peace for the weekend. Bring your own alcohol.
