„We had such a wonderful time at Voco! The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The views of the lake are gorgeous- especially from the breakfast restaurant and the gym. You can watch the sun set right over the water. The hotel staff members were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there are plenty of options. I do think the restaurant prices for lunch/dinner are a bit high, but the hotel is just a walk away from other restaurants. It’s located on Yangguang Road, right along a running/walking path next to the lake. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Qiandaohu!”

„Once again, another good experience here. This was our second Christmas spent here. The pool was well heated most days and the play area was good fun. Unfortunately the arcade was closed, this was very disappointing as we were not informed, and this was a big part of re-visiting. The other downside is the lack of vegetarian food options, even after some requests, I still found bacon in my food. Very grateful to the staff at breakfast who made requests for meatless food for our children and the ladies at the pool who facilitated all of our sessions. Beautiful lights display, though sometimes a bit loud quite late when children are sleeping. Lovely location, used the bikes for a nice ride along the lake.”

They were both amazing and kind, offering assistance voluntarily when they saw that I had a sprain and also problems arranging for upcoming airport transfer. „Mainly went there with the kids, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The pool water was very clean, and the kids' playground was large, spacious, and spotless. There were a few less play items than expected, but it didn't stop the kids from not wanting to leave! ☺️ The complimentary 'Duck Park' was also quite fun. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety, and there was even a dedicated area for children. Another highlight was the excellent service; a butler contacted us even before check-in to help with arrangements. During our stay, any issues we had, we could just tell the butler, and they'd be resolved. I have to give a special shout-out to my butler, Anna; she was beautiful, enthusiastic, and always answered all our questions. Thumbs up! 👍”

From the moment I stepped into this hotel, my amazing journey began. They greeted me with refreshing fruit tea and drove me to my room. Thanks for the upgrade! The view from my room is incredible. And let’s not forget our amazing housekeeper, Miya. She made everything so smooth and always met our needs. She booked cars for us, arranged a spa day, took care of our food, and did everything else. The spa is a must-try! Room number 2 has a truly amazing view. But the most incredible experience was the firefly release ceremony. As we walked to the center of the island, they provided drinks and food, and the music played. We released all these beautiful fireflies, and it was an unforgettable moment. I’m so sorry I didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the other activities and explore the whole island. I’ll definitely come back and explore next time. This place is truly deserving of a longer stay.

Beautifully located hotel, with great views and access to Qiandaohu. Amazing service by Intercontinental Experience Ambassador Klein, who was able to help with any requests needed. Children loved the services available including electric cars, train, indoor play area. The only area I would say needs some improvement is food choices for children. Very limited choices for what they could eat.

The room was very comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 of us. Unfortunately the weather was against us and rained everyday whole day during our visit and couldn’t go do sightseeing by foot. The “guest bathroom” drain was releasing a very unpleasant stinky smell throughout our visit. Highly recommend to spend a few RMB and buy the drain smell problem solver (see picture attached). Promise it will solve the problem!! Installed it in all our apartments where we lived in China that had the same issue. Our daughter (and us) enjoyed the playroom even though the a/c systems did not allow warm air to heat the room (setting was on hot= 35 degrees Celsius, high speed, but never went over 15 degrees Celsius). Cleanliness could be looked at, lots of human hair lying around. Reception could possibly take an English course to accommodate non-Chinese speakers, but the language translator came in handy. Breakfast was mainly Chinese like. But good variety, shouldn’t go hungry.

房間都在獨立別墅裏，整個環境安逸舒適。房間給免費升級的，很大，有獨立陽台。冷氣和熱水都很好。 前台衹要有一個人，旅客多時需要等。早餐比較豐盛，可以去露台或草地上吃，非常貼近自然。入住後可在湖邊欣賞夕陽，酒店湖邊是一個自由營地，草坪很大很開闊，漫步時有英式莊園感覺。附近有熱氣球基地，啤酒小鎮也不遠。

The hotel is located in the best spot in the town, so you you'll find it very convenient roaming around from here. The place is surrounded by the best fish restaurants. There's a bike rental right in front of the hotel. The room was clean is spacious. The shower is awesome in case you need to warm yourself up real quick after a winter walk. I strongly recommend to you to get a round corner room (ours was 2607) with the city view, in this case you'll have a purely magnificent panoramic view on the mountain valley to the Sunset side + city with the night city lights + a part of the lake (check out the photos). The service was great. They brought us fruit as a Chinese New Year gift. We had a late train back to Hangzhou and the weather was nasty outside, they agreed to let us stay until 20:00 for half the price. The TV had a lot of movies in English, so it was great too. Breakfast was a typical Chinese one, but I found something for myself as well and it was enough. The mini fridge was removed from the room for some weird reason, as I understand, since there's a place for it, but that's not a big deal. We had an awesome time staying here and definitely will come here again soon!

We spent 2 nights at Moxy in October during the national holiday period. The price-quality ratio was very high- the room was clean, spacious, with all necessary amenities, and the breakfast had a lot of western and Chinese options to choose from. The location of the hotel is very convenient if driving- it was in the middle point between all the attractions we planned for our stay, and it was right next to a mall with a few dining options. The only negative points are quite loud ac unit outside that creates a low-frequency noise that can bother more sensitive sleepers-my boyfriend woke up with a headache due to the noise. Another thing is the service- we called the reception late in the evening to ask if there are other rooms available due to noisy families staying next door to us; the receptionist said they did have rooms available, but she could not guarantee they would be quiet, so she did not offer to switch the room. I understand you cannot guarantee it, but it wouldn't hurt if you could let us try- it was late and we just wanted to get an early night sleep.

Hey there! I just had the most amazing 5-night homestay experience that I can't wait to tell you about! This hidden gem is a perfect blend of stunning natural beauty and modern luxury. The property is surrounded by lush green hills and forests, with breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. The infinity pool is absolutely gorgeous, and the rooms are super comfortable and stylish. Plus, the outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing, and the lighting at night creates such a romantic and cozy atmosphere. But what really made this stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitalizes of staffs. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and cared for. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine concern for our well-being touched our hearts deeply. By the end of our stay, they felt like family to us. The bonds we formed with these amazing people will stay with us forever, and we can't wait to visit them again soon. We chose this hotel primarily for its promise of a secluded, nature-connected experience and its on-site hot springs—a perfect antidote to busy city life. The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.
