Accessibility and Location: We were mindful that Montmarte is a hilly, cobbled location; therefore, on arrival and departure taxi or Uber would be the most convenient way with large luggages. It's brilliantly located within walking distances of fabulous bars, restaurants, and main sights of Montmarte. About 450-550 meters within Metro stops of Lamarck and Chateau Rouge. Cleanliness: The room we were in had a bit of a body odour smell on arrival, which was disappointing. Thankfully the windows can be opened so that solved the issue. Comfort: Beds and pillows were comfortable. Service: Good breakfast service. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good coin laundry service.

I stayed here recently and was disappointed with the value for money based on the price paid. The facilities felt dated, especially the hair dryer which barely worked. I also requested a dental kit from reception and was told to purchase one from the vending machine, which felt surprising for a hotel of this level. I eventually received one the next morning after speaking to housekeeping directly. For the price I paid, I don’t feel that the experience met basic accommodation expectations. While the location is convenient and close to the Eiffel Tower, the overall service and quality didn’t justify the cost. I expected more comfort and better guest support given the hotel’s star rating and price point.

Located near Montparnasse train station with numbers of nice restaurants and supermarkets around. The room is spacious with amenities like an electric kettle, digital safe, cleaning shampoo, gels and etc. Self-service coin laundry is in the basement one, and free coffee, cocoa machine at lobby level 1.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja z zapierającym dech w piersiach widokiem na Wieżę Effiel! Dogodna lokalizacja, blisko sklepów i restauracji. Jedynym minusem jest dodatkowa opłata za przechowalnię bagażu (mała: 3 EUR, duża: 7 EUR), podczas gdy większość innych hoteli i apartamentów oferuje tę usługę bezpłatnie.

Despite the bustling area, the hotel itself felt like a quiet haven. It's also very well-connected to public transport, making it easy to explore all of Paris's attractions. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes right on the doorstep. Cleanliness: ★★★★★ (5/5) I was genuinely impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. From the lobby to my room, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The room felt fresh and inviting, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for guests. Friendly Service: ★★★★★ (5/5) The staff at Hotel Richmond truly elevated my stay. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine helpfulness. The reception staff were particularly friendly. Overall, Hotel Richmond offers a wonderful balance of convenience, comfort, and excellent service. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Paris!

We had a very good experience The location is amazing. Room was big the bed was very comfortable. The most amazing thing about this hotel are the staff!!! We felt like they are doing everything they can to make us happy. We will definitely come back. Thank you 🙏🏻😃

Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.

Dobra lokalizacja, bardzo blisko stacji metra i szybki dojazd do większości atrakcji. W pobliżu mnóstwo restauracji, piekarni i lokalnych sklepów. Sam hotel jest bardzo prosty i, o ile dobrze pamiętam, serwują tam również śniadania itp., a na miejscu znajduje się w pełni wyposażony automat z napojami i przekąskami (choć drogi) na wszystko, czego można potrzebować. Pokoje były sprzątane codziennie przez przemiłą panią, ale prysznic był trochę niestabilny, bo z trudem się trzymał, ale było dużo ciepłej wody i klimatyzacja też. Warto za tę cenę, dobry pobyt!
