„Britannia Hotel Manchester has an undeniably grand, old-world charm—but it shows its age in ways both atmospheric and inconvenient. The lobby’s sweeping staircase and chandeliers hint at past glory, and the central location is excellent for shopping, trains, and nightlife. However, that vintage character often slips into dated and tired. Rooms vary widely: some are spacious, others cramped; décor can feel worn, with scuffed furnishings and thin walls. Cleanliness is generally acceptable but inconsistent. Bathrooms work, though water pressure and temperature can fluctuate. Service is hit-or-miss—some staff are friendly and efficient, others seem overwhelmed during busy periods. Noise from corridors and nearby bars can be an issue, so light sleepers should request interior rooms or bring earplugs. For the price, it’s a functional base in the city center with nostalgic charm, provided your expectations are modest and you value location over modern comforts. Potential, but in need of refresh.”

„First time staying here in Manchester, staff and faculties were great. Staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. First night we went to the bar ordered food which again was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely stay here again 10/10”

„I stayed at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre for a business trip and it was exactly what I needed, simple, efficient, and reliable. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the station and close to everything, which makes it easy when your days are packed with meetings or travel plans. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing over the top but well thought out. The bed was good, the shower worked perfectly, and after long days that’s really what matters. Breakfast was solid and consistent, plenty of options to start the day right. I appreciated that the staff were friendly without overdoing it, helpful, professional, and present when needed.”

„Fast checkin. Great value considering quality and prices in the surrounding area. Comfortable stay. Didn't go to the restaurant but nice to have it handy as nothing to eat nearby. But 15 minutes walk gets you to some great eateries. Happy to stay here again! Oh, and rooms had some interesting mindful features (seem pics) 🫶”

The reception staff are very helpful and nice, they help me to keep my luggages when I travel to other cities and of-course I will stay there again before i head back to my country. From the moment you step through the revolving doors of this striking glass skyscraper, you’re met with a sense of modern grandeur that sets the tone for the entire stay. Location & First Impressions The location is absolutely superb — right on Deansgate, within walking distance of the best that Manchester has to offer, including the Arndale shopping centre, the Spinningfields business district, and the bustling nightlife of the Northern Quarter. Public transport connections are excellent, with Deansgate station just steps away. On arrival, the reception area made a strong impression. High ceilings, clean lines, and sophisticated decor give it a contemporary and stylish feel. Check-in was smooth, efficient, and handled with professionalism. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome right away, even though the lobby was quite busy. Rooms & Comfort My room was on one of the higher floors, offering truly stunning views of the Manchester skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows — easily one of the standout features of this hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with crisp linens and plush pillows that made it hard to get up in the morning. The room was equipped with everything you would expect from a four-star Hilton property: a large TV, iron and ironing board, mini-fridge, safe, and a decent workspace with good lighting for business travelers. The bathroom was clean, modern, and stocked with quality toiletries, although the water pressure in the shower could have been slightly stronger. Overall, the cleanliness was impeccable throughout my stay. Facilities & Amenities The facilities are where the Hilton Manchester Deansgate really shines. The health club and spa are a big bonus, with a good-sized swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. I particularly appreciated the sauna and steam room after a long day exploring the city. The Executive Lounge, available to guests staying on executive floors or with Hilton Honors status, was a peaceful retreat. It offered a good selection of”

„Pojechałam z córką, to był jej pierwszy pobyt w Manchesterze. Bardzo podobał nam się pobyt w hotelu. Personel był bardzo przyjazny. Śniadanie było dobre i każdy znalazł coś dla siebie. Jedyne, co mogę powiedzieć, to to, że oboje nie wyspaliśmy się, nie z powodu hałasu z zewnątrz, tylko z toalety. Za każdym razem, gdy ktoś korzystał z łazienki w sąsiednim pokoju, nasza toaleta również hałasowała, co było uciążliwe, ale nie było sensu narzekać, bo było już bardzo późno, kiedy wróciliśmy do hotelu spać. A zostaliśmy tylko na jedną noc. Ale naprawdę chciałabym czuć się trochę bardziej świeżo rano. Nie jestem pewna, czy to problem w innych pokojach, ale przez to oboje nie spaliśmy dobrze. Poza tym nie mogę narzekać. Prysznic był dobry i z dobrym ciśnieniem. Był bardzo czysty. Lokalizacja była doskonała. Chętnie bym spróbowała jeszcze raz, ale prosiłabym o pokój bez głośnej toalety :). Spójrzcie też na zdjęcie. Można skorzystać z taniego całodziennego parkingu za 6 funtów.”
