This place was absolutely mind blowing, I sent my parents for a special trip and they were not disappointed. The staff looked after them so well, they upgraded them to a much better Room. Thank you so much Albergo Gelsomino for making my parents trip memorable. I will definitely be booking again and recommending you to everybody. Also they said the dinner was amazing! Very luxurious and special. ❤️❤️❤️

Booked a standard graden room, turned out to be a catastrophe: fridge in the mini bar humming so loud one could barely sleep, road directly in front of the room with loud vehicles passing and uncomfortable bed) - slept less than 4hours first night. Then were given the option to move to another standard room which did not have a loud road but for whatever reason had same issue with the fridge. After complaining again were upgraded to better room which was nice (bed nevertheless not comfortable). Lost 2 out of 4 nights to terrible rooms. Overall cannot recommend hotel. If you want to stay make sure only to book higher categories - standard room is absolutely not acceptable - a shame for a supposedly 5* hotel. Other negative aspects: breakfast only okish, food and the restaurant very very mediocre at truly elevated prices & outrageous wine pricing (60€ retail wine sold for 370€..) with no decent drinkable cheaper wines On the positive sides: very nice beach, good service at the beach, nice/cool interior design.

Excellent location. The room was very clean, including the kitchen and bathroom, and the balcony offered beautiful city and sea views. Extra coffee and bottled water were provided, and all the essential amenities were available both in the room and bathroom, including slippers, towels, shampoo, and soap. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit and would highly recommend it to others.

This accommodation is an excellent choice, located right in the city center with easy access to everything. The bed is comfortable, and if you book a room with a balcony, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of both the city and the sea. The staff are kind and very accommodating, making the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast is satisfying, offering a good English breakfast. Rooms are clean with a strong shower, even on the fourth floor, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The place also embraces sustainability, providing basic but pleasant-smelling toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. Overall, it’s a fantastic stay — I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

Positives: We stayed in a Bungalow Family Room which was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a lovely outdoor area. It was quiet and peaceful. Towels were changed and bins emptied daily. The hotel is perfect for families with younger children (up to about 8 years old). We went with two boys (4 and 8), and they loved it. The two slides kept them entertained, and the beach bar was excellent—always cocktails and snacks available. There were plenty of sun loungers, especially on the beach, with no need to wake up early to reserve. That made the stay very relaxing. The entertainment team was great—friendly, not pushy, and always offering activities. They were amazing with children, and the mini disco was the best we’ve seen so far, with all the staff putting their heart into it. Evening entertainment suited all ages, and we especially enjoyed the beach party. Negatives: While most of the staff were lovely and smiley, the reception team was disappointing (except the lady who did our check in efficiently on the evening we arrived and explained everything). On several occasions when I asked questions, they seemed abrupt and in a hurry, even when no one else was waiting. The biggest drawback was the food. It really needs improvement and is the main reason for the lower rating. Most meats were dry, with little variety. Even simple dishes like Greek salad were below standard. The buffet was very pork-heavy, which made it difficult for us on some days since we don’t usually eat pork. Desserts were the worst part, mostly inedible, just cream and jelly-like options. The wine was also very low quality. Another issue was cleanliness of the public bathrooms, especially those near the pool. They were not well maintained, and I even saw a cockroach in one of them. Our room also had these tiny worm like snakes (apparently harmless and called ”blind snakes”) We first thought it was one that lost her way but we ended up finding one or two everyday and getting them out. We did ask someone to come and sort it out, but they told us they were harmless and didn't do anything other than getting them out. We love the sustainability concept and appreciate that they grow their own vegetables, but unfortunately, we didn’t see this reflected in the meals. It made us wonder if it might be a bit of a waste of time and money, since the menu didn’t seem to highlight those fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. As a whole, we felt everything about the hotel except the food was great but on this basis, we wouldn't come again.

Wspaniała lokalizacja przy plaży. Świetne tereny z plażą, trawnikiem, ruchliwym basenem, cichym basenem - każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Jedzenie różnorodne i smaczne. Uwaga: jeśli zaoferowano Ci pokoje powyżej 600 osób, będziesz w części hotelu będącej rezydencją – w głębi lądu/aby się tam dostać, musisz przejść przez ulicę. Nie wszystko jest jednak złe, ponieważ ma własny basen i bar z dużo mniejszymi tłumami. Będziesz jednak dużo chodzić - nam to nie przeszkadzało, ale innym może. Nie wiem, dlaczego hotel ogranicza restauracje a la carte do jednej na pobyt zamiast raz w tygodniu. Kiedy poszliśmy, było bardzo pusto. Włoskie jedzenie nie było dużo lepsze niż w głównej restauracji, więc nie stracisz wiele. Towary w sklepie były bardzo drogie, ale nie jestem pewien, czy byłoby tak samo we wszystkich hotelach. Personel był przyjazny i pomocny. Ogólnie zdecydowanie polecam ten hotel.

Niesamowita wycieczka w ostatniej chwili. Świetny i przyjazny personel. Ponieważ był to sam koniec sezonu, kilka drobnych rzeczy nie było idealnych, ale całkiem zrozumiałych w przypadku wakacji pod koniec października. Bufet był ogólnie dobry, urozmaicony i w przeciwieństwie do innych miejsc, które ostatnio widziałem – regularnie zmieniałem gorące jedzenie, aby zachować świeżość. Doskonała cena i chętnie wrócę.

Очень приятный отель, у которого есть только один недостаток, который, впрочем, можно одновременно считать и достоинством: он находится немного в стороне от ближайшего городка Мастехери. Добираться пешком в светлое время суток легко и приятно: вдоль моря ведет красивая тропа. Но вот после наступления темноту придется ехать или на такси, или идти по темноте. Тропа вдоль моря и частично проход по дороге не освещаются. В отеле всегда вкусный и очень разнообразный завтрак ”шведский стол”. К сожалению, я многое не ем, но то, что все же ем, мне очень нравится. Есть и разные виды омлетов, много овощей, грибы, оливки, фрукты, закусочные бутербродики с помидорами и сыром (высший пилотаж!). Это из того, что я ем)) А еще - много всякой выпечки, пирожных, сосиски, ветчина... Короче, голодным никто точно не уйдет, даже я со своими ограничениями и диетами😄 Номера уютные, чистые, на ресепшн приятные, вежливые работники. Территория красивая, бассейн огромный, как зеркало, повсюду живописные пальмы. Море рядом, пляж шикарный, закаты показывают каждый вечер по расписанию один лучше другого) P.S. Опять больше всего про еду получилось🤣
