Bold colours, beautiful Bhutanese design, and a strong sense of culture come together effortlessly. The location is just perfect. Waking up to the view of the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery is something special. Manager Nim Den and her team are warm, kind, and always ready to help. Their hospitality feels genuine and easy. The food is simple and tasty, comforting in the best way. A special mention about the hot stone bath after the Tiger’s Nest hike, soaking in it with a stunning sunset view is such an experience. And then there are the conversations. Talking to our host, Missie, was truly inspiring. Her journey of moving from the West and choosing to make this “last Shangri-La” her home for her young child adds so much meaning to the place. Everything about Taktsangri-La felt warm, welcoming, and easy to love. Whenever Paro happens again, this is where we return!"

"I stayed at this hotel as part of an 11 day multilocation group tour. The hotel was fabulous and I highly recommend it. The staff were helpful and sincerely gracious. The rooms and dining space was lovely and the main building upper floors were like a museum with many historical pictures and items."

"The location is absolutely heavenly. We stayed in a luxury room with tiger's nest view. Every morning to wake up to the spectacular view was a delight. Taj Paro property is unique and wonderful. The restaurant serves the best and delicious of all cuisines. The service of the hotel staff was exceptional. Special mention to Mr.Chandra, our butler who made all the difference through his politeness and truly impeccable service. His constant thoughtful care of our needs, made it such a memorable experience for us and it makes us wanting to back for a longer stay. He ensured that every minute we spent was special and worthwhile, curating the Bhutanese menu,organising for the traditional attire, arranging for an exclusive anniverssary decor and cake, and extending his helping hand even if it meant going out of the way. In short, from the time we stepped into the property till our departure, we were well taken care of by each of the staff members and the Managers. This is one of the best memories we would cherish not only because of the property but also due to Mr.Chandra. Sajan, the bartender is another person worth mentioning here."

Evening buffet was good, specially prepared for the few tourists that were there. Breakfast ok, but it would have been lovely to have had more fresh fruit and curd available, we did ask and got some. Excellent Masala tea."

"Miałem świetny pokój z niesamowitymi widokami z szklanego w słoneczniku w tym uroczym hotelu. Jest dość mały w spokojnej, cichej plaży na wzgórzu tuż za Paro (blisko lotniska). Jest bardzo blisko Paro i prawdopodobnie można chodzić, jeśli nie masz nic przeciwko ścisłej wzgórze bez ścieżki pieszej. Wziąłem uroczy spacer do wzgórza z hotelu, który miał mały ruch, las i widoki. Hotel był bardzo czysty, miał najlepszy gorący prysznic, który miałem podczas w Bhutanu (w tym udogodnienia takie jak suszarka do uderzenia). Łóżko było solidne i wygodne, a mimo że nie widziałem źródła ciepła miałem mnóstwo ciepłych koce i temps zewnętrzne były chłodne, ale nie zimne. Dobry śniadanie i kolacja."
