"I've stayed at a few other hotels in the Thamel area in a similar price range, and this one was overwhelmingly cleaner by comparison. I was surprised at how meticulously they cleaned the room every day. What really set it apart from other Thamel hotels was that the sheets and towels were genuinely white and clean. The breakfast, though simple, was delicious, and all the staff were very kind. As for the downsides, if you're over 170cm tall, you'll find yourself ducking in many places due to the hotel's traditional architecture, even in your own room. I bumped my head several times before getting used to it. Also, the water pressure in the shower isn't great. On the first day, there was no hot water in the shower, and the front desk staff's response wasn't very courteous. They told me to use the shower in the next room but offered no apology whatsoever. During check-in, they also just rattled off the bare minimum information. However, this particular staff member was the only one who wasn't friendly."
