"Decent hotel and great location if you are hiking the Saar Hunsrück trail. The sign in the entrance hall with the penalty for preparing food in the room scared me a little as I didn't know what it precisely meant, it is good to ask the owner."

"I had high expectations of this hotel and restaurant and so did my colleagues with whom I had planned a dinner. Let me start with the reception. The lady behind the desk was clearly new to the organization but that is not a problem. What was a pity was that her colleague did not help her so she had to ask questions all the time. I was also not shown the way to the elevator and further information about swimming pool, breakfast etc. was missing. The room ("Classic") was spacious and indeed very classic. You would expect a sofa but there were two, antique dining room chairs, a matter of taste. The dinner in Restaurant Bacchus was below the expected level. The service was not alert, forgot wine and water and was downright arrogant. There was only a set menu which was otherwise fine. The dishes were good without exception. We wanted to have a beer beforehand, that was not possible... Only wine and water, very special... Then beer was served at another table. When asked, the waiter insisted that he had told us this but all five guests confirmed that this was clearly not told before dinner. We accepted it but that made the five-star feeling disappear forever. It was also noticeable that the waiter mainly had an eye for the apparently regular guests because they were greeted and hugged extensively while we had to wait for the refill of wine. Compliments for the extensive breakfast but the breakfast chef was not very friendly either. It was not busy and then you expect a pro-active and hospitable service and chef in a five-star hotel. I have slept and eaten in various five-star hotels both business and private, but this experience really belongs to the bottom of my ranking. I experienced this stay as stiff, uninterested and arrogant. I will stay in this region more often in the future for a business overnight stay, but then I will definitely book a different location."

Hotel Perler Hof

"Nice carrier. Rooms and beds are good. Cool backplace where you can sit at beautiful weather. There is a well-filled refrigerator with various drinks , beer for example 2,-... A Indian-Italian restaurant is nearby. The back of the vehicle is a covered box for bikes where the battery can be loaded."

Hotel Maimühle

"An enjoyable overnight stay en route to Switzerland: nicely refurbished room (with a few housekeeping errors - some bedlinen missing, and a previous guest's shirt in the wardrobe still), but a convenient location with easy parking, and an excellent buffet breakfast. The highlight was the lovely dinner, served on the extensive terrace: indeed, the combined seating in the two restaurants seemed far more than the small-town location could justify."

Hotel Zur Traube

"Podczas gdy pokoje wyglądają ładnie i wyglądają czystsze (może być czystsze), usługa jest blisko niepewna. Pani, która była odpowiedzialna za śniadanie i check out był tak nieprzyjazny, że polecamy inny zawód. Śniadanie było średnie, a restauracja nie akceptuje płatności kartą.Poduszki były tak cienkie, że budziliśmy się z sztywną szyją każdego ranka."
