"Perfect location. Unfortunately the weather is really bad while we were there so it is pretty hard to see how clean the place etc but we are happy to be back. Place right on water. Brewery just right under it. We have the spa in our room and my little girl love it. The balcony is pretty big with the view on pictures. Nespresso coffee machine in the room. TV was not working unfortunately as the bad weather knock of the antenna. Waters given is in little bottle though not enough for anything. Other than that all pretty good for the price."

The hotel features an outdoor pool, a gym, and complimentary bicycle rentals for scenic rides along the river. The self-service laundry room is a great amenity for long-term travelers, and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Regarding the facilities, it's evident that the building has some age, and some room amenities are a bit dated. Soundproofing is also a bit of an issue, as noise from the corridors and adjacent rooms can easily be heard inside. Guests staying on the second floor should be aware of potential noise from the gym above. The central air conditioning is centrally controlled, so individual room temperature adjustments are not possible. For those driving, be aware that the hotel's internal parking is quite expensive at around AUD 35 per night, and spaces are limited. Street parking is an option, which is free from 6 PM to 8 AM. There are also public parking lots one or two blocks away. Overall, if you prioritize river views and a great location, this hotel is a good choice. We recommend requesting a high-floor river view room. Guests sensitive to noise should communicate with the front desk in advance to try and avoid lower floors. It's suitable for both self-drive holidays and business travelers."

The location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby and even a delicious ice cream shop right outside. The Chinese staff are all very enthusiastic, especially a young Chinese waitress at the bar who was very pleasant and knowledgeable about wine. The only minor letdown was the hotel's '***** new year' decoration, which clearly wasn't for Chinese New Year. I've been to many small towns on this trip, and even a small restaurant in Kalbarri had 'CNY' written up! It made me wonder if Korean management has taken over the hotel."
