The hotel is luxurious overall, but unfortunately our stay was not as pleasant as we had hoped. I booked two rooms for three nights, and the room assigned to my sister-in-law had a faulty shower head. Although the shower head was made of high-quality material, it was very heavy and secured with a loose screw. While showering, it detached and fell onto my sister-in-law’s boyfriend’s toe. As the swelling worsened and the pain became increasingly severe, we went to the trauma unit for an X-ray. What we initially thought was a minor injury turned out to be a hairline fracture in his little toe. As this happened on the first day of our trip, it was deeply upsetting and affected our mood for the remainder of the 2.5-week holiday. That said, the hotel staff handled the situation with empathy and care. They repaired the shower head immediately, provided additional first-aid supplies that the hospital had not given, and took the time to listen to our concerns. They also reassured us that they would look into the matter and see if they could assist with covering the hospital fees, or alternatively refund the room charges for the three nights. Things to be improved: 1. Make sure that the toilet amenities are comprehensive (my room was missing hand wash)

I just stayed in a BRILLIANT little room! Yes, it’s tiny - the toilet is in a tiny cubicle hidden behind the door behind my bed, and the shower resides behind the sink in the background. But it had EVERYTHING I needed and mostly within arms reach at any time at a steal of a price compared to other central Vienna hotels.  ** additional shout out to the wandl team - I requested an additional pillow and kettle to be made available in the room when I booked a couple of months ago. I didn’t even remember I had requested them. The wandl staff did though. There they were when I arrived.  Great location, very helpful and pleasant staff, very serviceable room considering it was the cheapest reasonable room in the area. Super happy and would return without question. Thank you for a brilliant weekend stay!  Hotel Wandl.

Pokój w hotelu był nieoczekiwanie duży! Transport jest wygodny, metro jest naprzeciwko, cztery przystanki do Złotej Sali, ulicy handlowej i Muzeum Sissi. Na śniadanie jest naprawdę mały wybór, byłoby lepiej, gdyby śniadanie było bogatsze. Obok hotelu znajduje się supermarket, aw odległości 100 metrów znajdują się pyszne dania kuchni wietnamskiej. naprawdę wygodne

Ponieważ przybyłem późno i następnego ranka musiałem zdążyć na samolot, nie miałem czasu zrobić zdjęć pokoju. Był to pokój z dużym łóżkiem i salonem, z dużą rozkładaną sofą. Mogą tam spać dwie osoby. Pod sofą znajdowała się zapasowa kołdra i poduszka. Pokój znajdował się na wysokim piętrze. Patrząc w dół, zobaczyłem stację metra. Naprzeciwko budynku znajdował się supermarket, w którym można było kupić świeży chleb i kawę. Hotel mieścił się w części mieszkalnej (nowo wybudowanej w ostatnich latach). Wybrałem to miejsce, ponieważ chciałem spotkać się ze znajomym. Dojazd taksówką na lotnisko zajmuje pół godziny. Było to całkiem wygodne.

The hotel is 2 metro stations away from Vienna Main Station. It is also walkable within 15min. There is a shopping street nearby which I like it as I can find food and needed stuff. My room is big enough for solo traveller, not too cramp. There is a big table for me to do my work which is good. The only downside is the hotel don't provide free water, will need to get bottled water from supermarket or drink the tap. Other than this, the rest is satisfactory. The cleaner will make the room everyday which is good.

Excellent hotel and Daniela on the reception is really welcoming and lovely. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and the location is really great for visiting the beautiful city of Vienna.

Im Zimmer hat es unangenehm gerochen. Es war zwar sauber, aber das Zimmer oder das Reinigungsmittel haben dazu geführt das wir im Winter für die Luftwaffe heizen mussten. Fenster auf Kipp und Heizung an. Das Frühstück, welches im Fahrstuhl auf der Werbetafel als ”legendär” beworben wird, war echt unterdurchschnittlich. Abgesehen davon, dass es im fensterlosen Kellerraum stattfindet, gab es lediglich mini-Brötchen, Supermarktkuchen und wenig Auswahl bei Wurst und Käse. Auch die Obst und Joghurtauswahl war schwach. Das Servicepersonal im Frühstücksbereich war ganz ok und freundlich. Wenn wieder ein Trip nach Wien snsteht werde ich anderen Hotels eine Chance geben - keine Empfehlung also.

Was a really nice hotel. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was really nice and they explained everything that was needed to have a comfy stay. Only thing is I couldn't use the bathtub to soak. It didn't have a plug.
