It may not be on the Main Street, but it is close enough to walk easily. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff super friendly and the pickup from the bus station was awesome. I told them that only thing I would like to see added (because they ask how they can improve to every customer) was to ad a fridge to the room. My room wasn’t advertised as having air-con, but I looked past that at the price, so was stoked to find my awesome room had air-con. Completely recommend for your stay in Phonsavan if you find yourself visiting.

Very basic hotel. Old and well worn. Room just ok. No window just a door that opens onto nothing! Breakfast very poor. Not much choice. Dont think we would come again. Passable for one night stay. Did not eat in so cannot comment. Plenty places round the corner to eat.

We are a widely travelled couple in our 50's and recommend Pukyo for travelers of all ages. The owners are a Belgian and Lao couple who live next door and their help, service and hospitality is unbelievable. David drove us to and from the airport as well as to an interesting silk farm. We got to know his daughters and he cooked breakfast for us and a delicious curry for dinner. Sakhone took us on an all day tour of the highlights of the areas including three Plain of Jars sites. She is so knowledgable, a good driver and is fun to hang out with. The rooms are clean and basic with some homey touches. The bed was comfortable and it was pretty quiet. Phonsavanh is not an easy place to get to (a short flight is best) but it is worth it as this is an interesting area of Laos to go to after you have visited Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng and Vientiane - it has a lot of important history.

The hotel's breakfast is very rich, with all kinds of food, and the taste is very good. The overall impression of the hotel is very good and it is a highly recommended accommodation choice.

Mad Monkey is a chain party hotel with inns in Cambodia and Vietnam in Thailand. Wanrong's hotel has bed rooms and big bed rooms to choose from. The bar is not noisy at all by the river on the side of the hotel. The bathroom is really convenient in the room. The room has windows that will not be dark, the air conditioner in the room will not be wet all day long, all rooms are sunny, and there are windows for lighting. It is also very convenient to not send the laundry to wash clothes by yourself. The bedding is really comfortable, and there are curtains to ensure privacy. The cabinet under the bed is a storage space, which is more convenient to bring one or two locks. The Lao room is used to barefoot, so the shoes will be placed next to the door. Health is also good, Wanrong's crazy monkey is really good, the location is good to enter the most prosperous area of the town, the location is good to recommend! I came to Luang Prabang and lived in a crazy monkey. It is not crazy and quiet here. It is more than two kilometers away from the old city night market. You need to ride to the night market Grand Palace Xiangtong Temple. The room is not as good as Wanrong, there is no window, and there is a set of three separate bathing facilities. However, there are many backpackers in Europe and the United States, and the door is a bar and there are activities. It is still easy to make friends.

The owner and his family are really welcoming and helpful ! The guesthouse is really well located, view a view over the beautiful mountains of Vang Vieng! There are many options depending on your budget and what you re looking for : bungalows, ensuite rooms and rooms with shared bathroom! We had one double room with shared bathroom and the room was cosy, although is it quite small ! The fan works very well;) The view from upthere is truly beautiful ! 100% recommended if you come to Vang Vieng! The location of the hotel is perfect, you have the night market, morning market and bus station really close walking. You also have the train station at 40 min walking We stayed in the atic apartment and was amazing. Huge beautiful apartment with amazing balcony and views of Vang Vieng mountains. You can see the sunset and air balloons from the bed The facilities are also really good! You have a really nice bar where the food is delicious ( also the breakfast ), swimming pool and the staff is so kind and helpful A must in Vang Vieng 💯
