"InterContinental Chateau Chatilly Mont Royal. Oryginalny budynek chateau został zbudowany wcześnie w XX wieku przez architekta Guillaume'a Troncheta w stylu Louis XVI. Chateau pierwotnie zbudowano jako krajowy rezydencja dla arystokracji na początku XX wieku, a architektura nadal pokazuje cechy "tranzytu" - klasyczna oszczędność stylu Louis XVI jest połączona z światłem Eklektyzm Belle Époque. Hotel znajduje się w lesie Chantily, co tworzy poczucie zastrzeżonego rezerwatu otoczonego przez Naturę. Pomimo bliskości Paryża (tylko około 40 km), hotel pozostaje cichym schronieniem w lesie - poczucie, że jest w zamku krajowym, a nie tylko hotelem. Hotel ma 109 pokoi i apartamentów, wnętrza których inspirują się bionicą, tradycjami koniowami regionu i subtelnością lace Chantily . Wiele pokoi ma widok na las, a wiele ma balkony lub taras. Niestety, jest w pobliżu autostrada, a hałas czasami dochodzi do hotelu. To zakłóca pokojową atmosferę. Chateau ma dwie restauracje: L'Opera, położony w dawnym salonie muzycznym, i Le Stradivarius, który zajmuje dawną bibliotekę. Ostatni jest dość mały, a gdy jest wielu gości, może stać się hałas. Restauracje oferują dania z lokalnych składników, takich jak gra, ser z Picardy, i oczywiście słynny "à la Chantily" śmietana."

"The Chateau de Fere was in a great location east of Paris, between Chateau Thierry, Reims and Soisson, sits near the ruins of a 13th century fortress, which can be accessed from the hotel. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Belleau Wood. I stay for one night in the Prestige Suite. Room was spacious. It’s actually two rooms. There is the bedroom when entering the room, and a combination living room and bathroom in a loft area. The restaurant had good food and the bar had variety of drink selections. However, the hotel does not have air conditioning and the water for the shower didn’t heat up in the morning. There is no elevator to get to the upper floors."
