Hotele w Pompei

We had a great time in Pompei thanks to staying in this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful every minute - at reaching the hotel by the right train in the evening or even to get tickets to Vesuvio volcano that was overbooked online. Thanks to them we did not need to buy the package tour and we free to get there. The hotel has unique ambience and its decently devoted to the history of Pompei. It is next door to the ancient Pompei. Many restaurants are nearby. The room was great, spacious, quiet and clean. There was no noise from the street. We were sorry that the spa closes so early but the hotel was transparent in it. The breakfast was great for sweet lovers but a bit restrained for others. The bowls were not replenished until we have finished the breakfest. I was missing more vegetables and cheeses and those small local delicius things such as olivas or dried tomatoes that makes the breakfast at the hotel great. But it were just minor things. Thanks to all the staff for a great time.

We arrived at this property and were told our accommodation wasn’t in the main building but instead two minutes away up the street. We were then walked round to accommodation with signage up for “Eco B&B”. When we asked about this were then told this was a “sister hotel”. Feel free to Google this but Eco B&B is a 2-star B&B and Diana is a 3-star hotel. The difference was clear from the rooms and there was also c.40 stairs to climb with your luggage with no elevator. The B&B accommodation is above very busy and noisy late night bars and restaurants on the Main street in Pompeii. We highlighted we were unhappy about this particularly due to noise concerns and had booked Hotel Diana not this one and were moved back, taking luggage again with us. In terms of Hotel Diana, this is a nice enough hotel for the money paid. Air con and tv work well. Breakfast was basic but nice and bathroom was pleasant. Luggage storage was available the next day. If staying at a peak time I’d just beat my comments in mind and try to arrive early. We were taken aback about what happened and didn’t get an apology at any point.

We only booked an economy room but found the room spacious, clean and with air conditioning with the bathroom sufficient for our needs. The staff were very welcoming and spoke perfect english. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable and the view from the breakfast room was superb. There is a bar/restaurant attached to hotel where the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. The entrance to the Pompeii ruins was a brief 3 minute walk, we arrived at the gate at 0900 and the queue was minimal as the main tourist entrance is around a further 30 minute walk away. If you are travelling from Naples by train i recommend you catch the TrenItalia Metropolitan Linea 2 from Naples Garibaldi to Pompeii and not one of the other lines available by other train services.

May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. The hotel is diagonally opposite the entrance of Pompeii, and the garden is very beautiful. Parking to the front parking lot, the hotel pays. The lemon trees in the garden are beautiful. Good breakfast and reasonable price

Soggiornato all'hotel Zeus per una notte. Unica Nota Positiva: il parcheggio a ridosso degli scavi. Note Negative: Siamo arrivati nel pomeriggio tardi e ci è stata data una camera con la porta del bagno scassata che sarebbe stata aggiustata solo dopo il weekend, avete avuto tutto il giorno nel poterla aggiustare prima del nostro arrivo, perchè non aggiustarla? oppure visto che c'erano altre camere libere, perchè non darcene un'altra tranquillamente? per altro era una camera per diversamente abili e noi abbiamo scelto un'altra camera e non questa, sia ben chiaro. La porta principale dall'interno non si chiude quindi chi ha BAMBINI attenzione perchè possono uscire tranquillamente. La camera era FREDDA e il riscaldamento non ha funzionato, anche i luoghi comuni erano totalmente ghiacciati, ci è stato detto che ci sono stati dei lavori di manutenzione, allora perchè non chiudere quel blocco e far soggiornare i clienti da altra parte? oppure una stufetta o far trovare delle coperte pesanti in camere (che abbiamo chiesto noi)? Camera datata e con formiche, senza alcun quadro appeso e con i muri sporchi e graffiati. Cassaforte trovata chiusa e senza alcun foglio illustrativo, telefono che non ha linea diretta con la reception, teli bagno e lenzuola che puzzano di aceto, lavandino del bagno inclinato e con cestino piccolo e insignificante dato che è anche l'unico in tutta la stanza, getto del bidet irregolare (ha bagnato ovunque), nessun specchio in camera. Colazione fatta difronte alla reception, luogo tetro buio e freddo, datato e sporco. Se volete scegliere questo luogo fatelo, ma unicamente per il parcheggio e vicinanza agli scavi altrimenti pagate il parcheggio e scegliete altra struttura. Il cliente qui NON è considerato o gli vengono date delle risposte non concrete o parole tappa buchi.

È la terza volta che alloggio in questa struttura e ormai mi sento sempre più a casa grazie alla splendida accoglienza degli host. Il B&b dispone di ogni comfort, tra cui la sala comune per la colazione che ti permette di mangiare in altri momenti della giornata nel modo che più ti aggrada. Il proprietario inoltre nel corridoio prima delle stanza ti lascia la possibilità di usufruire di: ceste, piatti, posate per un picnic, the e caffè per un momento relax e di un frigo bar dove puoi posare le proprie cose. Il punto di forza è la locazione in cui si trova, ovvero 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e dall’ingresso degli scavi. Gli host super gentili saranno disponili a risponderti a qualsiasi info e richiesta. We were only planning to stay one night but out kids of 14 and 12 years loved this place. We could walk to Pompeii ruins, drive easily to Ercolano and Vesuvio. This would also be great for day trips to the thermal baths. We are considering actually staying here and taking the train into Naples each day before the end of our trip. They speak French, Spanish, English and maybe more. Walking distance to down town if you like to walk. Keeping in mind that walking anywhere in Italy is a life threatening activity. I have heard the food here is the best that some have had in all of Italy. The owners are apparently chefs and if you give them a heads up you can dine here in style.
