"This was unfortunately the most difficult hotel of our trip. Although check-out is at 12:00 and check-in at 15:00, the reservation confirmation stated 14:00. Early check-in is only from 13:00 and costs €20 — which in itself is unreasonable. I became ill on the way and urgently needed to rest. We left our luggage and asked for help, but despite my obvious medical condition, we were left waiting in the café for hours in pain and were only given our room at 14:45. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I find this unacceptable. If check-out is at 12:00, then some rooms must already be vacated by that time, and at least one should be cleaned and prioritised for a sick guest in urgent need. Making us wait until 14:45 raises the question: what possible justification can there be for such a delay? To charge for ‘early check-in’ at 13:00 and still deny a room until 14:45 is simply wrong. That night I ended up in the emergency room, diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. If something worse had happened while I was forced to wait, I would have held the hotel accountable. Hospitality is about people, not just rules and profit — sadly, this hotel failed completely."

"If you are the sort of pilgrim who enjoys the extra penance of being abused on arrival by someone so aggressive you question why they would ever be in the hospitality industry then this is definite the place for you. The added bonus is you can get a bunk bed in a corridor. And unlike every other Albergue we stayed in, they don’t provide any type of breakfast or coffee, but you can buy an outrageously overpriced pilgrims breakfast at the cafe they own next door. Just be sure you turn up at the exact time for breakfast or risk getting further abused by the owner. Sleeping on the street would provide a better experience. Best to be avoided at all costs."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Ruas. We arrived soaking wet after walking on the Camino. The receptionist was welcoming and booked us in for dinner that evening. Our room not massive but enough for us to relax, with a hot shower and comfortable bed. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was fixed price less than €20 for 3 courses.. the food was excellent. The breakfast next morning was served in their cafe next door. Note there is a choice but not a self service buffet. Unfortunately due to the weather we didn’t get the opportunity for any sightseeing in this lovely historic town. The hotel is located very centrally inside the old town and it was very easy to re-start our walk the next morning."

"We stayed for one night in this hotel on our Camino walk. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable and just what you need after a long trek. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The little cafe on the ground floor was a real contribution, for snacks etc. The breakfast was plentiful and lots to choose from. Would certainly stay there again. Thank you."

Pokój nie oferuje wody i kawy, ale siedzi w hotelu bar, z widokiem na ogród, a atmosfera jest bardzo dobra. Hotel jest wygodny do spaceru do Starego Miasta w małym mieście, dotrzeć w ciągu kilku minut. Jest również blisko do rzeki. W każdym razie, hotel jest doskonały. Może być w hotelu."

"We don't even know where to start. We initially spoke on the phone to confirm our reservation and explained that we were 4 adults and 1 child, so we needed 2 rooms. We had two rooms but they got mad at us because we hadn't mentioned the child when we made the reservation over the phone. We mentioned it so much that what they told us was that they didn't have room for an extra bed. We agreed that the 5-year-old child would sleep with us because it was only for one night. We were placed on the 6th floor, rooms 601 and 602. Avoid this floor at all costs. It must be the forgotten floor. The cleaning is terrible. In fact, it didn't even look like it had been cleaned. It's the building's attic, so you can imagine what it must be like. One of the rooms with a shower had a door that wouldn't open. In the morning, be prepared to wake up to the noise of everything and anything because we could hear everything from one room to another. Garage on floor -2 of the building, forget about large cars or have little experience, don't even try, terrible and they charge €10 per day. In short, never to be repeated."
