Urban Garden Porto Central Hostel

Location is really good! I got off the subway station and got to climb some hills, but it was only 5 minutes away. The staff at the hostel was nice and helpful. Although the facilities were mixed for 10 people, the room was really spacious and the bed was very good. 10 people but never crowded. There is a dryer too! I have a locker and give me a locker key. Breakfast is just okay Bread cheese ham juice water coffee It's nice to have a rest outside in the morning. Ah, the Wi-Fi didn't go well in the room. Anyway, it is recommended !!! I'll be here again. And I thought I had a paid winery tour at the hostel, but it felt less organized ..! This is light ...
Mercado Dos Poetas – Tourism Apartments

I dreamed to live in this type of room. Ordered earlier in Prague, it didn't work. The hotel (studio apartment) very liked. Recipeshen nearby, on the same street. The administrator is very kind, carried out, showed everything. The family room, I was alone. Upstairs sleep warmer. There's an air conditioner. The welcome portwain is very delicious! In the room everything is available: refrigerator, teapot, pans, stove, safe. I'm not in a suitcase, I was OK, but with a suitcase it will be hard to get up to the room. Hotel in the center, near the metro, supermarkets.
Hotel do Norte

Located in an ideal location, right next to a metro and one of Porto’s main shopping streets, the Hotel Do Norte is a low budget resting point bang in the city centre. The reception is very modern and fancy, as is the small bar, which is a facade for a traditional and rather strange building - you need to take the stairs to floor 2, walk along a corridor, then a separate staircase to the higher floors. It’s not by any means horrible, quite well maintained actually, but don’t be fooled by reception. The rooms are likewise traditional but perfectly clean and functional. I’ve seen on here complaints about noise, and I can verify the interior walls are rather thin. I could hear the couple next door being, uh…intimate. The sounds from outside never bothered me though. Overall I’d call it a great value hotel for the money. As a single guy I’d stay there again, unsure if I would if I were in a couple though

Moved from a hotel on the river to a more centrally located property. Great location, easy walking to just about everywhere. The apartment was very nice furnished with modern and new everything. Really set up as an apartment with lots of storage for clothes and dishes, etc but not needed for a few days stay. The bedroom was small with a small double bed. I have to sleep on the coach because I was too tall (6'3”) for the bed. Coach was not much better but... what's you gonna do.
Youropo - Bolhao

Housed in a beautifully restored building just across from the Bolhao market. Ideal choice if you want to explore the city center, a two minute walk from Santa Catarina street, it doesn't get much better in terms of location. The apartments are spacious, colourful and beautifully furnished (I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows). All staff members were amazing and very helpul. I highly recommend Your Opo Bolhao Apartments if you are looking a charming place to stay.
