"My stay was ruined by shameful management. Because of a simple date error on ***********, the receptionist (acting in good faith) assured me that the hotel would accept a free cancellation if I extended my stay directly with them. So, trusting them, I paid for two extra nights. The next day began a marathon of calls and false hopes: each department passed the buck, the operations manager and the customer relations manager promised a solution… then refused any refund, even after *********** had given its official approval. €300 gone for a night I never used, after being strung along all day. The manager didn't hesitate to threaten to have the negative reviews removed and even mentioned taking the money from the receptionist's salary—unbelievable for a 5-star Sofitel in the Accor group. Between broken promises, contradictions, and manipulation, the experience left a bitter taste of disrespect and abuse towards customers. It's simply theft. The operations manager, the reservations manager, and the customer relations manager clearly acted in bad faith. I want to emphasize that Booking did everything possible to ensure we received a refund. I won't comment on the rest, as this is quite a lengthy matter."

"I spent one week here, positives, the staff are lovely and will help you as much as they can. The rooms are lovely. Negatives, we had the same breakfast every day, no menu, but if your an out sider then you get the menu. The outside pool looks lovely, first day went in there, not very good for children, there is no shallow end, best to get out by 11ish as the restaurant starts filling up with out-siders, who wants to be looked at! The hotel does not cater well for their clients, no privacy. Only 2 sun loungers! The inside pool was very cold, they do advertise a spa, it's in process, sauna and steam room. Overall I think the hotel is just a stop off for short trips and not very good for children. CM"
