Caoxi Hot Spring Holiday Resort

Hotel w pobliżu: Nanhua Temple,Shaoguan
The Caoxi Hot Spring Holiday Resort (Shaoguan Caoxi Wenquan Jiari Dujiacun) is located south of Shaoguan and boasts natural hot springs and stunning scenery. Within easy reach of Nanhua Temple, Danxia Mountain and the Maba Man Remains Site, guests will find plenty of sightseeing outside of the resort, while within the villa-style resort extensive facilities and grounds provide for guests’ recreational need.Diners can head over to one of the on-site Chinese restaurants for meals, and for those looking to stage events there is a luxury banquet hall. The hotel has several meeting rooms and a business center, and amenities and staff are in place to make the customers’ stay a carefree and relaxing experience. This Shaoguan resort's multitude of hot spring pools are unbeatable when it comes to relaxation, and other recreation amenities, including a large outdoor swimming pool, mean that there is something for everyone.
„I visited this place as once 11 years ago. Many things haven't changed, which was nostalgic. However, a lot of things seem to be run a lot more chaotically and haphazardly than before. Half of the pools are closed outside of busy times. The rooms are more worn down. Etc. Not as nice as it once was, but not terrible either.”

Blossom Garden Resort

Hotele w: Wujiang District,Shaoguan
The Blossom Garden Resort provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Blossom Garden Resort is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Shaoguan. The hotel is conveniently located just 5km from Shaoguan Railway Station and 33km from Shaoguan Danxia Airport. This hotel is located near many of Shaoguan's attractions including Fotang Reservoir, Changtang Reservoir and Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
„This is a group of sunken post-modern style buildings. It should be a multi-story guest room building plus dozens of individual very exquisite small houses. The scenery changes as you move around, surrounded by the waterscape in the middle, and the waterside is quietly hidden. There is a seal stone exhibition room, and most of them are of high quality. Many landscapes have hot spring pools, and the bathrooms should be equipped with floor heating, so bare feet feel comfortable. The soundproofing of the room is not particularly good. The hotel is surrounded by Wanshaoyuan, Dongguan and Shaoguan Economic Cooperation Zones. There are many scientific research and trade institutions next to it. The landscape is designed with trails, which is great for running.”

Shan Yuan Se Yao Ke Symbiosis Homestay

Hotele w: Autonomiczny Powiat Ruyuan Yao

„Amenities provided from the hotel were great like free shuttle to the train station, access to the spa baths and areas, breakfast and dinner buffet. Unfortunately the room we were given was a separate building all the way in the back of the resort where their employees live. No option for smoke free rooms on trip.com and per the front desk there were no other rooms available. A cart shuttle service allows transport to and from the room to the main building. Keep in mind this service ends after 12am. Room is older and has a moldy smell. Robes weren’t provided to us in the room to walk around the spa area with. There is a restaurant where you can order takeout but that closes around 11pm. 2 stars because of the free shuttle and access to spa pools.”

I am pretty familiar with hotel business in China and this one is fascinating. Hardware-wise it is comparatively easy to be high quality and it is the software side amazes me. I booked a suite room and arrived late in the evening due to traffic. The check-in was smooth and we settled down quickly and found that both TV sets were not properly functional. Quickly they reacted to send a tech and then decided to switch a room for us after the tech failed to fix the problem (eventually I found a solution to fix it and it is actually because of the telecom but not their TV properties). During the stay, their problem solving capability and attitude to clients were one of the best I have ever encountered in China. If you go to the city for a leisure, I highly recommend this and for anything you may reach their director of operations Mr. Xu Qiang. I will definitely visit them again.
