"The Mercure Rouen Hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance of all attractions and food streets. The hotel itself is a typical older European hotel; the facilities and cleanliness are fairly basic, not quite what you'd expect from a four-star hotel. But these are secondary issues. The biggest problem is that most people come here by car, and parking is expensive (19 euros even in the suburbs). You absolutely must confirm the hotel's address with them before you can use the password to enter; otherwise, like us, we wandered around for two hours without finding the entrance. Only after finding the hotel did we get the correct address from the navigation and the password to enter, and the parking lot was extremely small. It was a real ordeal."

"New Hotel. The Spa area is so small that you actually need to book it well in advance if you are planning to use it.. As most likely the slot which you would like is already taken. It's charged per hour... Overnight parking is €19. Very irritating is the shower in the bathroom as the water goes between too hot and too cold on its own pattern and you can't control it.. Typical for the buildings with the plumbing issues, or the water pressure.."

"Jestem bardzo rozczarowany tym wynajmem. W pierwszej sypialni była złamana noga łóżka, przez co trudno było spać. O 22:30 światło w wentylatorze wyciągowym było zepsute, a papieru toaletowego brakowało, poza końcem rolki. Klamkę mieliśmy w rękach, więc zadzwoniliśmy na nocną zmianę. Bardzo miła osoba dała nam lepszy pokój. Szuuu! Znacznie mniej czysty niż w pierwszym pokoju, termostat zwisał i był odsłonięty, elektryczne rolety się nie otwierały, a materac miał tylko 12 cm grubości, podczas gdy ten w pokoju niższego standardu miał 28 cm. Dla osób powyżej 80 kg, witaj ból pleców! Toaleta była brudna i pełna kamienia, a przed wyjazdem poproszono nas o umycie naczyń. Nie było ściereczek kuchennych, zwłaszcza na dwie filiżanki. Krótko mówiąc, nie rozumiem, dlaczego ma ocenę 5 gwiazdek. Naprawdę nie, bardzo złe doświadczenie. Jedynym pozytywnym punktem, bo jest jeden, jest to, że recepcjonistka i osoba, która przyszła o 22:30, były bardzo przyjazne i uważne. Wielkie brawa dla nich obojga. Szkoda, że właściciel nie reaguje tak szybko na uwagi."
