"Reasonable run clean hotel spoilt by poor quality breakfast; poor coffee and food selection. Staff don't trust people with trays! Plus points no sunbed shortage, area has relaxed feel, staff friendly and helpful. Free beach sunbeds also good. If they can fill the place in summer not sure they care about breakfast comments. Note Sami area is windier area of Kefalonia so beach/swimming more a challenge."

"Wspaniały hotel i lokalizacja zaledwie kilka minut spacerem od uroczej tawerny karavamylos 200 jardów od lewej i komfortowy 20 minut spacerem od Sami z mnóstwem tawern i sklepów. Hotel staff were all lovely and smiley. Breakfast was plentiful. Nie jeliśmy tu wieczorem, jako brak atmosfery w barze lub restauracji. Było to dość nieprzyjemne, że basen został podzielony z 3* hotelem na drodze, zwłaszcza, że jest tu 5* podatek od klimatu! 105 euro za 7 noclegów! Bar basen regularnie wyczerpał projekt piwa.. 6 euro za duże piwo 5 euro za 330ml puszki! Nie na naprawdę za 5* "sport plus 2 euro opłata za pokrycie jeśli chcesz tam jeść, niezależnie od tego, czy tam zostałeś czy nie. W zasadzie, ładny hotel, świetna lokalizacja & pracownik ... Zostałbym tam jeszcze ... prawdopodobnie nie"

"Lovely clean accommodation with super friendly staff. Quiet pool with everything you need. Short drive to sami assos, myrtos and antisamos. Easy drive to fiskardo and argostoli. Had a great stay and highly recommend. Also best pizza I've ever had in the traditional wood fired pizza oven!!"

Meliti Waterfront Suites

"Fantastic apartment at Meliti suites. The penthouse (Ammos) apartment is so worth the extra cost. The wide balcony runs along the front and round the side so every room has a sea view. One bedroom with a side view out to Sami has an en-suite. The middle bedroom is double aspect with doors facing to the front and side. The 3rd bedroom is smaller and looks out to sea. Lovely indoor sitting/dining/kitchen area and lots of seating options on the balcony, from where you hear the sea breaking on the pebble beach. Great location between Sami (a few mins drive or 20 min walk, The Cellar is a great restaurant) and the even nicer Agia Effimia (10 mins drive. Walk away from the harbour up to Pergola or along to Sea Rock for dinner) and less than 10 mins walk from Melissani lake. There was a really long queue when we went to the lake (a cruise ship was visiting the island) so we just went back another day. And there’s a lovely bakery/cafe just a couple of mins walk away. The staff were very helpful before we arrived and very pleasant when we were there. Photos are of the view from the balcony. "

"We have just had the most wonderful holiday here in Sami. We didn’t want to leave! Despina and her family are the loveliest people you could meet and they gave us lots of tips for places to visit. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, very quiet and chilled. There is a lovely bakery next door and you can also have breakfast on the terrace with fabulous views of the sea and the mountains. It is a stones throw from the sea and a short walk into Sami. We hired a car and the driving is super easy, just go nice and slow! We took the car to Ithaca for a day and visited Skala and Lassi and a couple of other places. But once we found the beach nearby, which is called Antisamos beach, we went there everyday. It’s a very easy 10 minute drive and very easy to park. It’s such a beautiful place, crystal clear waters, lots of free sun beds and places to eat and drink. Also a fantastic bar to go to with great music in the evening is called Manifiko in the heart of Sami, a short walk away. There are numerous places to eat too, all of which are delicious. We will definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to come back here to stay."

"Despite our stressful start to our holidays thanks to Loveholidays for not paying for our accommodation, we had a lovely time in hotel Athina. Both Elena and Maki are really lovely. They helped us with an issue created by the travel agency in the middle of the night. As previous reviews said, Maki knows everyone's name and if you have any issues, Maki will fix it!! Bonus, we could use a lovely pool at Ionian Emerald hotel. Beach is great and swimming in that gorgeous sea was the highlight of the holidays. Thank you so much, Maki. Ευχαριστώ πολύ. "
