Grace did a great job as butler for our stay at Atlantis Sanya Hotel. We are very happy with her service. Hotel amenities were fantastic, and customer service went above and beyond when we had issues with the air conditioning in our room. We will certainly stay again!

The environment is very good. As a parent, you can finally rest this day. The children can swim in front of your eyes and watch the projection with confidence. They are not bored while playing. I will book here for two days again in the future. The water is very clean.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the whole crew for the exceptional customer service they provided during my recent stay at the hotel. But I would like to give a SPECIAL MENTION TO MIKI her attentiveness, professionalism, and warm demeanor truly made my experience memorable and enjoyable. Miki's dedication to ensuring my comfort and satisfaction did not go unnoticed, and I am truly grateful for her efforts. I want to say thanks to MIKI for going above and beyond to make my stay a wonderful one. I look forward to returning to the hotel and experiencing her exceptional service once again.

I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s not worth it. In my 5+ years of living in China and using Trip.com, this is the first time I’ve ever written a poor review. I should start by saying that the staff are incredibly courteous, just mostly incompetent. Out of the staff, there was only Vito, who was kind and prompt with check-in and follow up. Everyone else who works there of course has a very difficult job, and while they had a few mistakes here and there, I understand that 端午节 can be a very busy time of year. In those cases, the manager Brian was very kind to try and help resolve them. However, overall the hotel has policies in place that are just unacceptable. Firstly, after checking in I was told that there would be a music festival happening right next to the hotel. So for 2 days, I had to listen to nonstop EDM through the afternoon and night. It was so bad that my room would literally vibrate with the music until midnight. If I had been warned of this ahead of time, I would have chosen another place. But instead they chose the sneaky route and did not say anything until I had already paid the deposit and was in the room. So shady. Secondly, Trip.com lists this place as having an “exclusive beach area” but there was nothing of the sort. There IS a path to the beach, but on the way there you will come across a sign that says it is in no way linked to Shangri-La. There are a small amount of beach chairs out there, but again, they say this isn’t their property so I was worried the whole time that I was intruding. In addition, it’s still quite a bit of a walk, so remember to bring all your own things (water, towel, snacks, etc) because getting back to the property will take some time. Also, the area does not permit swimming. That is of course something they cannot control, but if you are hoping to swim in the ocean, this will disappoint you. Thirdly, breakfast was a mess. I am fully aware that things are different over a holiday, but they couldn’t fit everyone in the restaurant so they had to set up an additional “breakfast area” that had about half the choices—and then shove you away in this little crowded ballroom. I learned the second day that there was a patio option with no wait, and I actually had wanted to sit outside anyway, but no one told me this was available. Even then, I had to ask for my own cutlery (they gave me a children’s set), they did not wipe down the tables, and no one paid any attention to me until I finally showed some frustration. Fourth, the place is very much geared towards families. This place has the most “children-friendly” resources out of every Sanya hotel I’ve stayed in, and if you are a parent this is of course great. However, if you are looking for a quiet retreat, I recommend you look somewhere far far away. For my entire stay, I had to deal with screaming kids and their louder-screaming parents (two families got in a screaming match at the pool, and no one did anything except stare). It is definitely something to be aware of when planning your stay. Honestly, I wanted to spend as little time at the property as possible. It was just too frustrating, too loud, too disorganized, and a waste of my money. This place is taking advantage of the name “Shangri-La” to overcharge you.

The poolside double suite was spacious and set up well. Being able to have our own pool at any time was fantastic. I wish the pool had been cleaned more often, however. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had in China. Not so much the breadth of choices (which was very good), but the quality of the ingredients and food itself. Excellent! The large main pool was fun and full of activities. Also, it was nice to be so near the duty-free mall.

The apartment is an apartment in the Atlantis hotel, using the same beach. There are not many people on the beach, and the waves are too big to swim in the sea. The swimming pool downstairs allows children to play in the water and there are safety guards. There is a small gate in the garden that leads directly to the Atlantis Hotel. All rooms are sea view rooms. We booked a 2-bedroom room. The master bedroom faces the sea and the second bedroom faces the corridor. The sea view from the oversized balcony is unparalleled. The front desk service of the apartment is good and patient. They will send WeChat messages in advance to ask any questions about meals, beaches, facilities, etc. that need to be asked when checking in. There is an underground parking lot, and you have to pay the parking fee yourself, up to 30 yuan per day. There is a small supermarket downstairs, and things are not cheap. You can order takeout and pick it up at the takeaway counter.

Service and food are very good, in our opinion best restaurant is Egret. Swimming pools are beautiful and temperature perfect. Also sandy beach in nice. Only cons, you cannot swim in the sea.

Excellent from start to finish. The customer service and attention to detail was excellent. We went for my birthday and the hotel went above and beyond to make the experience special. Thanks to Miki for your customer service and looking after us. Breakfast had lots of choice. The beach and pool areas were very nice, clean with plenty of sun loungers.

1. The location is very convenient for playing Yate. There is a small door to enter. 2. It’s a bit far from the seaside. It takes 15 minutes to walk there. The community is a bit big. 3. The hotel facilities are pretty good, but the bathtub cannot be used and is too dirty. 4. The little girl at the hotel service was very responsible and only let us check in at 6 pm. Cleaning was a bit slow during the Spring Festival! But he sincerely apologized to us and it didn’t matter if he came out to play. It's good to be happy, the old man just feels a little tired.
