"This is a stunning hotel located on a hill overlooking Alassio and the Mediterranean. The building is beautiful and renovated to the highest standards. We got a wonderful room overlooking the sea. The service is immaculate. I highly recommend dinner at the in-house 1* Michelin restaurant. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but we will for sure return for a longer stay. Be aware that accessing the hotel by car is a challenge given the rather steep and narrow lanes up the hill."

"Good structure in an excellent position, I must point out, unfortunately the problem related to the regulation of the temperature that could not be adjusted in the room and we had to resort three times to the help of the receptionist who tried to adjust it remotely but with poor results: aided by the impossibility of opening the window we died of heat."

"Ogólnie pobyt oceniamy bardzo dobrze. Jedna sytuacja była nieprzyjemna, podróżowaliśmy z psem, chcieliśmy przedłużyć swój pobyt w tym samym pokoju. Pan powiedział, że nie ma takiej możliwości, jest tylko droższa opcja, przemeldowania się w inne miejsce. Okazało się to kłamstwem ponieważ wieczorem miła pani wykonała dla nas te rezerwację bez problemu i większych kosztów. Pobyt ok, hotel ok, kobiety bardzo miłe. Mężczyzna niedoinformowany… przykra sytuacja."

"I drove there by myself. I asked Ctrip to call me in advance to ask if I needed to make a reservation for a parking space. They said no. When I got there, they said there were no parking spaces without a reservation. I could only park in a public parking lot. The hotel sign was not obvious. I still had to look for it for a long time even though the navigation showed that I had arrived. The front desk was quite enthusiastic, but their English was not very good."

"This hotel is in the most beautiful setting. It’s a little dated but that adds to its charm. The waiting staff are really helpful and friendly. The food is amazing. It’s a short walk to the lovely town of Taormina and the bus station is right behind so convenient for getting around. Not great for those with mobility issues as there’s lots of steps and located high up."
