"Stayed at the Landhaus Hopen Hotel while hiking in the area. The hotel was a real home from home. The warm welcome was matched by a very relaxed and homely feel during our stay. The hotel is set in the woodland just outside the town of Schneveringen about an hour's drive from Bremen. The restaurant served a wide range of dishes. The local speciality of mountain sheep in a juniper cream sauce was delicious. My friends's vegetarian options were all very good. Excellent beer! Deserts were very good. Perfect meals after a day of hiking. Everything served with a smile. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Set us up for a day's hiking. No lunch required! Our room was in an annexe. Room was immaculate. Swimming pool and spa areas with sauna on ground floor (7:00 - 23:00). Bar was relaxed and welcoming. Look forward to returning to Landhaus Hopen in the summer."

Breakfast and dinner were very good, especially thanks to Mrs Knuttel and the service team on the 2nd evening, great service. Our room (302) was good, only in the bathroom there were little deposit facilities, but it is to hurt at 2 nights."
