"Our 2nd visit to the Birkdale and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else on the Island. Lesley and Colin are the perfect hosts and Sarah’s smile in the morning is a delight. Everywhere spotless. Lesley’s home made biscuits are gorgeous, and moreish. Nothing seems too much trouble for this trio. My wife had a different breakfast every morning but I stayed with the full English with fruit salad to start. The first morning we both had a standard size fruit salad, but then dropped to a small which didn’t look any smaller. My wife doesn’t eat strawberries and I don’t eat kiwi fruit. Not a problem put it on the form, and that’s what you will get. Unbelievable eye to detail. Well done all, you deserve all the great reviews you get and more. Hopefully see you soon."

"Mieliśmy wspaniały 2 nocleg w Royson. Nigel i Sharon myśleli o wszystkim!! Zostaliśmy mile widziani i przyjazne. Małe szczegóły w naszym pokoju były tak przemyślane - smaczne domowe chleb, pęcherze dla naszych dzieci i gorąca czekolada i mashmallows były ogromnym hitem! Nasz rodzinny pokój widokowy na morze był idealny i przestronny! Śniadanie było absolutnie pyszne i zakwaterowane dla wszystkich!! Bardzo polecam każdemu i wszystkim!!"

Summerhill Apartments

"If you are looking for a self catering apartment this is the one its a fabulous location. We travelled to the island with both our grown up daughters using the foot passenger ferry and then used the islands train service from Ryde Pier to Shanklin. Such an easy journey! The apartment is just a five minute walk from the station and the local shops are just a short stroll away. Best of all the beach is on the doorstep - it was exactly what we were looking for! The apartment had everything we needed. It was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was very well equipped - had all the little extras there already including fresh milk, bottled water, biscuits, even a pot of the islands Jam! The little touches made the start of the holiday so much more relaxed without having to make a trip to the shop a priority! We stayed in 'Whitecliff' 2 bedroom apartment with a lovely courtyard to sit in to eat breakfast and enjoy an easy start to the day. There was a barbecue if you wanted to use it - but with so many great places to eat we didn't have the opportunity to. We highly recommend staying at Summerhill and we will back!"
