Hygiene: The hygiene was up to standard, I suppose. The sofa and chairs might be old, which could be why they appeared a certain way. Service: The service attitude was average. Environment: The lobby is very spacious, and the location is good."

"The hotel has a lot going for it. We enjoyed the fresh renovations and the breakfast was good. I don’t think it’s worthy of 5 stars though because they have extremely cheap and uncomfortable mattresses. The mattress was so light and springy that any movement from the other side of the bed would make you wake up and you can feel the springs and hear them. We tried flipping the mattress over as instructed by hotel staff but the hard side of the bed was equally uncomfortable. We booked the Urcove for the next night because Hyatt has a high standard for mattresses and we can count on a good night’s sleep. One thing to keep in mind for these hotels in China is they are pretty much all unwilling to enforce no smoking rules. Even with air filters throughout the hotel we could smell the cigarette smoke everywhere."
