Ich słodkie wino ryżowe jest naprawdę pyszne, tak bardzo różniące się od tego, które piliśmy gdzie indziej.”

„Cleanliness is very important to me, and this hotel was wonderfully clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My checkout was originally at 12 p.m., but since my flight wasn’t until 9 p.m., I asked at the reception if I could stay in my room until 2 p.m. It was no problem at all. Afterwards, I was able to leave my luggage in the lobby.
After a few hours of exploring the city, I came back to the hotel in the afternoon. At the entrance, there was complimentary coffee and tea for guests, and I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee there. I stayed at the hotel until around 6 p.m. and felt very comfortable the entire time.
The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. The selection was quite large, but it was mostly local-style food. It would be great if there were more Western or international options for guests. There is a beautiful lake near the hotel.
Overall, my stay was very pleasant – a clean hotel with friendly staff and good service. I would definitely stay here again!”

„The location is easy to find and convenient, only 1 kilometer from East Lake. The room facilities are complete and the breakfast is plentiful. The living environment is quiet and comfortable. The receptionist, Xiao Chen, was attentive and welcoming, and even helped us book attractions. Laundry is also very convenient; there's a laundry room and dryer on the second floor. Parking is also convenient, with several restaurants downstairs.”

2026 Global 100 - Cultural Hotels„Grand House Shaoxing was an 4000 years old village which had an ancient history, villagers surname Si (姒）were Dayu‘s (大禹)tomb guards for thousands of years.
Now it is as a beautiful hotel with a lot of amenities ! Breakfast had many local specialties were very delicious ! It’s also had a big restaurant and wedding banquet hall ! Room is beautiful as in my photos.
Hotel located only 4 KM from city centre, as taxi only cost less A$7. We stayed 3 nights, enjoyed peaceful country life, also the very busy tourist spot !
I must mention all the stuff in the hotel are so helpful, specially the young man who greeted us on arrival in the rain at night, helping us changed room because I can’t get to upstairs loft !
I hope more tourists visit Shaoxing and stay in this hotel, because it is a totally different experience from big city like Shanghai or Beijing, and you will not regret it.”
