„Perfect location. It was a 5-min walk from the bus station and less than 10 min from Roadside rest area. Room was spacious and it faced to the sea. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the balcony . Delicious breakfast and dinner. Food of western and Japanese style was provided. Dining area was big. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak English. Need to spend sometime to communicate and they tried their best to give help anyway. Better to use the Google translate in this case. Check-in time was 15;00. There is no receptionist before that. For guests arrived before 15:00 can leave luggage in the hotel but guests had to bear the responsibility.”

„Very disappointed with the buffet standard as compared to my 2023 visit. The food selection is below average. TV stations all in JAPANESS, there is not consideration for international guest. Shampoo is near empty and no top up and look very uncalled for as a 5 star hotel. No housekeeping for guest staying for 2 days. Most of the staffs couldn't speak English and making communication very tough. Bell boy welcoming us are very friendly”

„酋長之家是我沒訂到那天kiki的候選，卻意外再次體驗了一次當地人生活，17年去富良野那裡體驗過一次，要自己鋪床，這次倒是不用，可是我媽不喜歡，因為房間沒廁所，要去外面上以及沒有空調，洗手枱放的水是銹的，我倒是對於民宿沒那麼多講究，因為它便宜，被子厚沒空調也不冷，我訂的四人房，實在不夠再蓋一層，最大的問題是水，找前台的一個長者家，帶我去了另外一個洗手枱還是不行，我也懶得搞了，直接自動販賣機裏買了3大瓶水，夠用了。它家的餐食很有當地特色，也很好吃。雖然硬件施捨不行，但是老闆和老闆娘真的是好人，我第二天去kiki不太方便，老闆娘看我困難，開車送我上去，真的是大好人，解我燃眉之急。”

„We love the ambience and everything about the hotel! Furnishing are very carefully and intentionally designed, really appreciated the overall cozyness we felt during our stay. Sadly we had to give the bathhouse a miss due to our schedule, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The only confusion we had was the check in/check out timing — the hotel page says check out is 11am, but we got a phone call at 10am telling us we’ve exceeded the check out timing. Page also mentions check in by 6pm, but we were only able to arrive at 9pm+ due to our flight and car rental processes, hence we checked in multiple times with the hotel. They were kind enough to assure us to drive safely as we can check in any time.”

„The location of the hotel is great if you drive. Otherwise, I can imagine how troublesome it is to get up to the hotel. Parking is free and plentiful. The buffet dinner has a host of alcoholic drinks to choose from; wine, sake to high ball. The range of food available makes it very difficult for one to choose but the freshly cooked tempura is my favourite. The shizen wing side has a nice view of the sea and setting sun. The hotel is quite dated but rooms are generally spacious and clean.”

„It's a very big old hotel, a bit run down. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a bit far on foot from the ”center” of Utoro (convenience store). Only one elevator for the section of the hotel I was in, is insufficient. You can have toothbrushes at will, but on the other hand to wash yourself, there is only one sample of shampoo per day. In any classic hotel that respects itself, you will find containers of soap for the body, shampoo and conditioner.”

„The hotel is located a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Although it’s a hostel, the room is spacious and includes a safe and a refrigerator. The bedding is clean. There’s no shower in the room, as this is an onsen-style hotel. There’s no kettle in the room either — a shared one is available on the first floor in a small kitchen equipped with a stove and a microwave. The only downside is the absence of a water cooler or filter for drinking water. You have to buy bottled water from a vending machine and pour it into the shared kettle. The view from the window is stunning. The air conditioner is AI-powered — it even talks 😁”

„Hotel located next to JR station. Surrendered we restaurants and convenience store just opposite. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel room is very spacious compared to to most hotel in Japan.”

„知床的酒店都還挺貴的，尤其在冬天屬於旺季，所以選了山上這家，走到山腳下711超市需要20分鐘，走到最近的餐廳也需要20分鐘。旁邊啥都沒。好在酒店有免費接送到BUS站（要打電話），開着國內100萬的alpha來接，乘坐體驗還不錯。第二天去知床徒步，人家也可以直接到旅館來接，蠻好。 定了日式榻榻米房，正好在新樓的二樓，對着院子。房間很舒適，也算寬敞。有公用的洗衣機，茶水機，製冰機--很愛。温泉也不錯，人不多，比網走的旅館大一些。 早餐是套餐，還行，要提前定好時間過來。不知道是不是因為春節旺季，兩個前台都是中國人，好溝通。”
