"This was a gem on our trip. We had no real expectations, but compared to some other hotels, it was clear the staff tried hard to help with whatever they could and were outwardly friendly. Made us feel like our visit was appreciated. The hot baths were large and luxurious with outdoor pools and tubs. Meals were delicious and hearty. Another thing that makes this hotel stand out, is its incredible view by the river and across the valley."

"April 20th, Hanamomo, staying at the morning market. Dinner was a relaxing private room, which was nice. I ate the appetizer and could tell the chef's skill, but it wasn't tasty. The soup was lukewarm, below 40 degrees, and the grilled and fried dishes were from a warming cabinet, so they didn't taste good. I doubt he's the chef. The rice was Shinshu Koshihikari and was delicious. I know that it's a hotel, so they can't make a lot of tempura at once, but there are other hotels where you can get it delicious. I had a delicious breakfast. The room was clean, but there was a Panasonic Electric Works sticker on the toilet seat, which made me nostalgic. When I got home, the mountain vegetable tempura I bought at the morning market was much more delicious than the one at the hotel."

"The hotel provided a very quiet and secluded retreat, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of the stay was the all-you-can-drink alcoholic beverages offered during dinner, which added a touch of luxury to our evenings. Additionally, the star gazing experience at night was exceptionally well-organized, allowing us to marvel at the night sky in comfort. Kudos to the staff for creating such a memorable experience!"

"Traditional Japanese-style room, clean and quiet environment, polite and patient waiters. There is plenty of food for one stay and two meals, and you can't finish it in an hour. The hotel has a large bathhouse and outdoor hot springs. It is a good place to experience slow life and recuperate. In addition, the hotel can arrange nighttime stargazing transfer service."

"Terrible! Not recommended! One night's stay included two meals. Dinner was extremely salty; the pan-fried fish was incredibly salty and had many bones, making it inedible. I had to drink water constantly after dinner. All public spaces in the hotel were poorly lit, dark, and lifeless, greatly spoiling my vacation mood! The staff were polite and tried their best to explain using iPads and body language."

"I visited in mid-November, so there were no flowers blooming in the surrounding area, but there are peach blossom trees planted around the hotel, making it a wonderful location in April when the flowers bloom.
