"During our trip to Romania, we spent the night there in Sibiu. A lovely couple was waiting for us upon arrival, even though it was Sunday and the reception was closed. The rooms were clean and very pleasant. It's a bit far from the center, but we were advised to take an Uber, and it was a great choice!"

"We filed a complaint with the hotel management and requested a refund for the room. The hotel was under construction on every floor. The entrance to the room was full of exposed wires and ceilings. The hallway carpet hadn't been replaced yet. It smelled of paint and damp. The room lacked curtains to block the daylight and was missing amenities like a hairdryer. Metallic noises could be heard throughout the night, possibly because the air conditioning system wasn't finished. Information about all the services was lacking. In short, it was unfit to accommodate guests. We've sent some photos."

I'm quite conservative and just can't accept having realistic nude portraits hanging in the room; I just can't appreciate it! "Our stay at Hotel Republique in Sibiu was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, modern, impeccably clean, and just a short walk from the Old Town, while still feeling quiet and relaxing. The private parking was also a huge convenience. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. A special thank you to Daniela, the manager, for leading such a fantastic team. Alexandra and Denisa at reception were incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. We also want to recognize Giorgiana and Mariana from housekeeping, who kept our room spotless and paid attention to every detail. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and the entire hotel felt welcoming and well cared for. Between the outstanding hospitality, comfortable rooms, and ideal location, Hotel Republique exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sibiu."

"The Best Western Silva Hotel in Sibiu has very clean and beautiful rooms with air conditioning/heating and a large flat-screen TV. All rooms also have a balcony with a wonderful view. As a Best Western Diamond member, I even got two rooms, each with a balcony. Fantastic! The cleanliness of the bathrooms was impeccable. Everything was spotless. Toiletries such as shower gel were also provided. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and can even be enjoyed on the terrace. The breakfast room is very nice and clean with comfortable seating. The terrace is also excellent! Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM. Great! The lobby is very nice and clean with seating. The staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful; they also speak fluent English. There is a 24-hour reception. Credit card payments are accepted. Sights, museums, churches, the historic old town, restaurants, cafes, etc., are all within walking distance of the hotel. Alternatively, public transportation is also available nearby. The hotel offers a very large, free parking lot with secure, barrier-free parking. Furthermore, the hotel has an elevator and is therefore accessible for people with disabilities. Luggage storage is also available. A supermarket (Carrefour), tennis courts, and a park with a large children's playground are located right next door or across the street. I would definitely stay here again. A highly recommended hotel that deserves more than 5 stars. Top-notch!!"

"Pobyt w Casa Petra jest przestronny, ok. 80 metrów kwadratowych, mieszkalne mieszkanie na pierwszym piętrze budynku mieszkalnego, w samym centrum miasta obok Muzeum Brukenthal, ale również bardzo cicho. Jest to prawdopodobnie 19 wieku, więc dostaniesz wszystkie ładne szczegóły wysokich sufitów, piękne stare drzwi, antyczne parkiet podłogi itp. Dwa bardzo przestronne sypialnie z bardzo wygodnymi dużymi łóżkami. Kuchnia i łazienka są dotarci przez większy sypialnię, ale to nie było problemem. Nie ma recepcji - wpuściłeś się, ale to dobrze działało. Parking był prosty - są miejsca tuż obok budynku, za który płacisz. Maszyny dobrze działały i można zapłacić za cały dzień (jedyna w dół jest to, że musisz być dopłatny maszyny od 8:00). Są kościoły w pobliżu Casa Petra, ale miłosiernie dzwony nie dzwonią przez noc. Bardzo zalecane."

"We chose this hotel because it was close to the bus station. It's a small, privately owned hotel. Cozy and clean. Friendly and attentive service. The only downside is that it's very noisy. You can hear the water running and dripping in the next room and from the upstairs floor, and you can hear all conversations both in the rooms and from the street. There's a complete lack of soundproofing. We couldn't get a good night's sleep over two nights."

"Stayed for 2 nights in mid September 2025 in the deluxe double room. The hotel is located near the old town of Sibiu. It is within walking distance to the big and small square. Room was of a good size with a large bathtub and large shower room with toilet. Not suitable though for friends if you plan to use the bathtub, as it is not enclosed. Room has basic amenities, good wifi but no USB charging points. The shower area in the room that I stayed has slanting roof, so not good for tall person to use. No rain shower. Breakfast has much variety and was delicious. The staff were friendly especially the lady who attended to me at the reception. She was all smiles and never fail to greet and have small chats with the guests. I was also able to deposit my luggage after I checked out and returned quite late in the night to take back my luggage, as I had a night train."

"Nice and very clean apartment. Had 2 rooms, one sleeping room and one living room with a bed sofa that made for a bed large enough for 2 teenagers. Kitchen is fairly small but has all that is needed. Has a parking basement for a fee or otherwise parking in the courtyard. The one drawback, and why it is not 5 star is the location some 15 minutes from the centre."
