„1) Japanese room is old but thankfully no funny smoke odour etc. decent sized and good for 2 large luggage - they will come and prepare your futon at around 5-530pm. 2) water park is good for kids, with 2 fun slides and some kiddo water slide. The indoor wave pool is big and there’s float and swimwear rental available too (unlike Rusutsu which doesn’t have such options). 3) Dinner was meh - wide selection but taste was alright. The dining buffet area is quite smoky though from the cooking and is quite a turnoff. 4) arcade at B1 is good for entertainment. 5) onsen is awesome. If timed right, you can watch fireworks from the onsen - it has a large sliding glass panel which is open during non-winter period. 6) daily fireworks - awesome”

„Booked a room with private onsen and shared amongst 3 friends. There is valet parking upon arrival, and complimentary drinks and simple snacks at the welcome lounge between 3-10pm. They had a harpist perform at the lounge and dinner sometimes, it was very peaceful! Room was nice and comfortable, facing a nice view of lake Toya. Would have liked to be even closer to the lake as it turns out there is a field between the hotel and the lake. Temperature and size of private onsen js good, room facilities also great. Breakfast and dinner was wonderful, for dinner they serve a 6-7 course French styled meal on both nights made by Japanese ingredients. They had western and Japanese main plate options for breakfast with a buffet alongside too. Choices were plentiful and delicious. Staff generally very courteous and helpful, we had an issue with the hot water in our shower which they work very hard to fix. There was a random incident where one of the staff Yusaku was very rude to us at the Lumiere restaurant, he pretended not to understand English when taking our order for tea/ coffee, and even challenged us when we asked for lemon in tea, he said ‘what colleague?’ And ‘you want a piece of tea?’. Completely unacceptable for a hotel like this. The rest of the staff were nothing like that.”

„Terrific stay, made easier because of the English speaking staff. We went to the (almost local) ski resort while we were here, which is about 50 minutes away. No complaints about this place, and today, as we're leaving, it's a glorious day that would have been nice to explore the lake area (it was a bit blizzardy for the last 2 days). Back to sapparo now on a bus which takes a couple of hours. Sol is recommended. Here's the onsen password in case you forget (men).”

„這是目前我在日本住過最滿意的房子。無論大小、設施和環境都屬於一流，有種在新西蘭的感覺。 環境：距離洞爺湖商業街2公里左右，步行有點距離，非常安靜，周圍是零散的居民房。就是半夜在屋外有點害怕。 服務：萬世閣拿鑰匙，退房直接把鑰匙放在別墅即可，10點退房比較令人困擾 設施：資料顯示23年開業，但裏面設施明顯不是新的，有些年頭，但保養得非常好，用的東西都非常高級，廚房的洗手池做工特別好，微波爐、烤箱、茶具餐具電磁爐什麼都有，尤其是整個温泉，更衣室，淋浴都有，感覺是有錢人給自己設計的度假屋，後來再賣給了萬世閣。 地理位置：步行5分鐘有便利店。但出出入入如果不是自駕，不太推薦”

„It’s a guest house located next to Lake Toya, but away from the crowd and the hot spots of the lake. The dinner and breakfast are of good choice, well cooked by their local people. We highly recommend it to people of limited budget but expecting good value.”
