"The hotel opened a month ago, so we were very lucky to be one of the first! Cleanliness, excellent service, and an unforgettable atmosphere! This is a village hotel, located alone on the seashore. The bed was comfortable, we slept well, and nothing bothered us. The mosque is just far enough away that the waves are louder at night. There's a restaurant open until 9 pm, or you can walk 20 minutes to the center to find two cafes, or ride a motorbike to a wonderful warung by a rice field; the food is delicious everywhere. The locals are very friendly. The hotel offers motorbike rentals; we went to the zoo, which is 15 minutes away; I recommend it. We also reached the Rijani volcano in 90 minutes from the hotel. There's a fairly large pool and a smaller one for children. There's a private beach area for hotel guests only. We were provided with a shuttle to the ferry, a 20-minute ride. We wish the hotel prosperity! We hope to come back ❤️"

"As experienced travelers who stayed in multiple accommodations across Indonesia, from budget to luxury, we had zero issues until we checked into this supposed '5-star' resort. On our second day, $200 in cash was stolen from our personal bag by a member of the hotel staff. The incident itself is shocking, but the management's reaction was truly appalling and unacceptable for a luxury establishment. Immediate Denial & Doubt: The Assistant Manager immediately cast doubt on our claim, stating, 'I trust my staff' and citing a waiver signed at check-in (which is utterly irrelevant in a theft case). Zero Ownership: Both the manager and the owner initially refused to take responsibility, wasting over 3 hours of our precious vacation time while we were demanding a resolution before our departure the next morning. Lack of Security & Trust: It took a demanding confrontation with the owner, his wife, and the manager to finally review CCTV and room entry logs. Only after this rigorous effort (nearly 1.5 hours of their own investigation) did they confirm a staff member was the thief, return the money, and offer a basic apology. A luxury 5-star hotel must guarantee basic security and, most importantly, show immediate professionalism and empathy when an incident occurs. Their initial response was to blame the guest and hide behind legal waivers. This hotel lacks basic security protocols and is managed by people who are not fit to run a high-end property. We received no compensation for the extreme stress, wasted time, and appalling treatment. Book at your own risk. Your safety is not their priority"
