"We stayed in the cottage. Decorated in suitable period decor which is lovely. Bed and bedding very comfortable. Electric blanket and heater. Kitchenette includes kettle, microwave crockery and cutlery. We really loved our stay. Great location. Shops and eateries within walking distance. Fuss free self checkin. So peaceful and a lovely outdoor setting too."

"Opened the door and faced a set of steep stairs with no hand rail. I would not like to carry a big bag up them and certainly not down. The room was in the roof so the ceiling was low with plenty of things to bang your head on. Overall the place needs decorating as it is very run down and past it best. However, whilst you could try to cover over some of the problems by saying it’s an old building and we are try to keep things in the style of the building, you cannot excuse the fact that the room needed a good clean. The bedside table was thick with dust, the bathroom had a layer of thick dust, the table in the “kitchen” section had food over it. When you are running a business you need to put some effort in. The only saving grace was that the shower was good. Would not return."
