It has a large car park although it’s not easy to get a large car through the narrow entrance, but it’s free to just park on the busy street outside. Very friendly staff provide excellent service and a lovely fresh breakfast. It’s a nice quirky old hotel but do double check your room the double en-suite we booked turned out to be around a lift shaft so you could only get out of one side of the bed so we upgraded to their new annex."

"We stayed at this hotel and were absolutely delighted. First of all, the location is excellent — close to the city center, yet situated in a quiet neighborhood. Everything is within walking distance. The area is peaceful and calm, perfect for both strolls and a relaxing stay. The room was clean, cozy, and spacious. The interior is modern, and the furniture is comfortable. Housekeeping was done daily, always neat and thorough. The staff are true professionals — always friendly, attentive to detail, and ready to help in any situation. Check-in was quick and smooth, everything was organized at a high level. The breakfast deserves special praise — a varied menu, delicious dishes, fresh ingredients, and excellent coffee. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and sets the tone for a calm and enjoyable start to the day. This hotel was a real discovery for us. We will definitely stay here again and will happily recommend it to our friends and family!"

"I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but in this case… I feel compelled to warn you. A magnificent, beautifully renovated place that seems to offer a truly timeless experience… When you see the prices, you also think it's going to be a wonderful time, that you're not paying for nothing… well, don't go looking for that experience at the restaurant. It's a shame to have renovated such a beautiful place and opted for such a "cold" restaurant (see photo). You might say it's a matter of taste. And don't bother looking for anything else either… the service was mediocre; I've never seen anything like it. There were only a few tables for several servers, yet we waited over 25 minutes before getting a drink. We even had to remind the server that we had ordered a bottle of wine. Wine that you have to pour yourself; the waiters walk past your empty glass 15 times but don't bother to refill it. You also have to ask for everything... Ask for bread if you want it, otherwise it won't arrive before the appetizer. No oil, no butter, you have to ask for that too; basically, you have to ask for everything. The food... I didn't even dare take a picture because, presentation-wise, my 10-year-old godson probably could have done better. When you offer a certain price range in an upscale establishment, you have to offer a minimum level of taste. Honestly, the appetizer wasn't good, the main course was good but nothing special, and the dessert wasn't good. I couldn't believe it... and yet I'm not usually picky. The ingredients... honestly, the appetizer, which was cheese with mushrooms (porcini), tasted like Boursin cheese cooked with mushrooms; no, it really wasn't great. Anyway. We didn't want a coffee; all we wanted was to leave. Also, be aware that there's a parking lot, but even if you're a customer, it's not free (we paid €6 and stayed for about 2.5 hours). In short, I strongly advise against going to this restaurant; what a disappointment."

"Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. The hotel feels very old and dated, and the room was not particularly comfortable. The bedding was poor and the blanket was not suitable or comfortable. Because of the age and lack of sound insulation, we could hear a lot of noise from other rooms, including in the middle of the night, which made it difficult to sleep. The lift was also extremely small, noisy and honestly quite uncomfortable and scary to use. The bathroom and overall facilities also feel like they are in need of updating and refurbishment. What made the experience more disappointing was the price. The hotel was quite expensive considering the condition, comfort and overall standard of the facilities. We expected a much better experience for what we paid. The only real positive point is the prime location, which is very convenient for exploring Spa and getting around the city."

"Overall, our stay was good, especially considering that the main purpose of the trip was to relax and enjoy the thermal baths. In that sense, the hotel delivered a pleasant experience. However, communication before arrival was a weak point. Until the very last moment, no one contacted me via Trip.com messages. This was disappointing, especially because I booked the stay as a gift for my elderly parents and wanted to stay in close contact with the hotel before check-in to avoid any stress or misunderstandings. The room itself was excellent — spacious, comfortable, with a beautiful view of the surroundings. One small but noticeable detail was missing: there was no electric kettle in the room, and no tea bags available, which would have been appreciated. The most stressful moment happened on the first day at breakfast. Only my father was registered in the system, and my mother was not allowed to enter initially, as if she were not part of the booking. This caused unnecessary stress for my parents. Both of their surnames were clearly provided during the reservation, so this situation was quite unexpected. Breakfast itself was very good, which is what you would expect given the price level. In general, the overall impression is positive — the stay was enjoyable and relaxing. My main recommendation is to improve communication and booking accuracy, especially when guests are traveling as a family or when the stay is booked as a gift."

"We booked a room in hotel La Reine and went for a day racing in Francorchamps. We returned around 20h and booked a table for 2 in the restaurant. A menu is only possible on Friday and Daturday with a starter and a main course. No problem. We wanted to order the cote a l’os for 2 persons but it was only possible to order it with a starter. We chose the croquettes aux crevettes and then they present us the only available cote a l’os in main course available of 1,3 kg (650 gr each !!!) at the price of € 10/100gr . We asked for some less because we had already the croquettes aux crevettes as a starter. We had both a piece of meat instead that you couldn’t cut with a knife, let’s say you couldn’t even chew in a couple of years. With the complain the simple answer was we had to ask for another better knife !!! Incredible mistake ! We don’t understand the mentioned Gault Millault review ! Quality below zero !!!"
