We were in Macau and chose this hotel. Excellent service, breakfast coupons, cleanliness, and a super room—that's what you'll find here. The hotel itself is great, very close to the bus stop. Just a few hundred meters behind the hotel, you'll find Love Lane and the Ruins of St. Paul's, surrounded by many delicious food options. However, I have urticaria. I hadn't had an outbreak in almost a year and a half, but it seems like the cleaning agent used on the hotel bathroom floor contains allergens. It was truly awful; the urticaria started itching right after I showered. 😓

I had a wonderful stay at Family Inn! The entire place was very clean, and the room was kept in excellent condition throughout my visit. The location is perfect—easy to get around, with convenient access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. The service was especially impressive. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. Amenities were simple but well-maintained, and everything in the room worked perfectly. I stayed with friends, and we all felt comfortable and welcomed.

Its located close to very large traditional market in Macau. The rooms are meticulously clean and well maintained. The ladies or the owner at the lobby are exceptionally kind for Macau standards

To sprawiło, że pomyślałem, jak często to musiało się zdarzyć wcześniej: ludzie zaczynają pocić (makau jest ciepłe i trochę wilgotne) w rzeczywistym kocku, który prawdopodobnie nigdy nie jest czysty z powodu jednorazowych arkuszy. Następni goście to samo dzieje się, więc zasadniczo wszyscy śpią pod tym samym kockiem. Również łóżko było bardzo twarde (nawet dla azjatyckich standardów). Mój partner i ja jesteśmy w wieku poniżej 25 lat i ból pleców następnego ranka. Cały hotel, a także pokój był bardzo wilgotny, pachniał jak papierosy/cygara i nie można otworzyć żadnych okien, nawet częściowo. W przeciwnym razie wygląda jak zdjęcia, a reszta pokoju/bath był czysty, z wyjątkiem zapachu i prawdopodobnie łóżko. Jeśli chciałem znów odwiedzić Makau, prawdopodobnie dostanę hotel w Zhuhai (kontynentalny Chiny), który jest mniej drogi i lokalni mówili nam, że jest 24-godzinna kontrola granicy i cały proces zajmuje tylko około 10 minut.

Location is great if you’re planning to visit popular tourist spots. Cleanliness was well maintained too — the toilet was spotless. However, the check-in experience was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. ========== (TL;DR) Imagine you had to experience this after a 4 hours flight ========== The young female receptionist I encountered on arrival handled things very poorly. She kept insisting she couldn’t find my booking, smiling the entire time as if it were a joke. Instead of checking properly herself, she kept handing me random printed bookings, one after another, asking me if any of them were mine. It honestly felt like I was doing her job. If the names were even slightly similar to mine, I would understand. But she passed me almost every booking she had in her hands, including ones with clearly Japanese or ********* names that were nowhere close to mine. I even asked her, “So does that mean I’m supposed to sleep on the streets tonight?” Yet she still giggled, with zero sense of apology or urgency. It made me wonder if she had ever been trained in basic customer service or professional ethics. Eventually, she finally handed me the correct booking with my name. But even then, after I confirmed it was mine, she said, “I gave you this earlier and you said it wasn’t yours.” Like… excuse me? You’ve been passing me completely unrelated bookings the whole time?! I initially wanted to rate the service 1 star, but I added one more because the hotel cleaner left a good impression, the cleaner auntie was polite and attentive. ================================================================================ Facilities: The TV in my room was broken, so I’m guessing it was just for decoration. Ventilation also seemed poorly designed. Despite booking a non-smoking room, I was woken up early in the morning by cigarette smoke seeping in from outside my door. Not recommended for light sleepers either, as the soundproofing is weak. I could clearly hear people talking outside, though I’m not sure if they were in the corridor or inside another room.
