„Overall experience was great. The room is big and soundproof is good that we can’t really heard any of the sounds from other room. The washing machine is just right outside the room, we can’t heard of any sounds too.
The first guy that we met at the front desk when we came to check in was very friendly. However, we do experience some communication barrier even though we are actually a chinese. We tried to request for towel but the term that we used in Malaysia is different in China so at the end one of the staff(guy) was not really polite in replying to us, while the other staff(girl) immediately helped us to get the towel.
Overall experience still consider excellent. Food there was delicious and”

„Receptionist was very warm and friendly. Offered us bottled water while we waited for the room to be ready. Very quiet location even though there is a shipping mall right downstairs and a school across the street. The room was on the 12th floor so the room felt bright and sunny. I would have explored the neighborhood if I had more time.”

„Surprisingly it is really good with a budget price. The room is spacious and has a nice decoration, with a big comfortable bed. It is just at Shantou Small Park, walk out and you can easily access it. The only 2 things are the room is not soundproof and the toilet is cubicle type, not so privacy.”

„Great location. We arrived around 8 pm, and by then the street had become a pedestrian-only area. Thankfully, the hotel is conveniently located right at the crossroads, so we could get off the taxi and reach the hotel easily without having to drag our luggage all the way through Xiao Gongguan.
Our room was on Level 4—quiet, clean, and exactly as advertised. There’s even a small home-style elevator, which was a nice bonus. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free.”

„This hotel is very clean, nice and friendly staff that didn’t speak English well but still made an effort using phone translators. Arrival was a bit confusing as the hotel sign was not obvious. I believe this hotel is one floor of a building which is shared with other hotels and residents. We used the front entrance upon arrival but was re-directed to a back entrance manned by a security guard. The back entrance does not have any English writing but is easy enough to find. Our window had a lovely view of a lively community park and waterfront. It was also close to a well known tourist area called small park and another larger park called Zhongshan Park. Lots to do and see but it did involve quite a bit of walking. There is no metro, just bus or taxis from what we could tell.”

RRuyiiiI stayed here for 2 nights, before heading to Chaozhou. Should I visit Shantou again, I will book here again. I'm very impressed by the hospitality, cleanliness, thoughtfulness, and panoramic view it offers. The location is a stone's throw from the ”influencer street” with cool, quaint cafes, interesting speciality restaurants and shops. It's not far from Longyan South Road, the famous food street. I was able to join other travellers to eat at some highly recommended restaurants, which would otherwise be challenging foe a solo travellers. The lady boss treated everyone like family and I feel the cozy and relax vibe. I would have wanted to extend if not because I already made reservations in Chaozhou. I feel that Shantou people loves their food and certainly takes pride of it. I feel that perhaps you can walk into any eatery and not be disappointed. Shantou is one of my favourite cities in this trip, Shantou being my 2nd of 6 stops. I highly recommend n23.5 degree youth hostel and Shantou to anyone.

1. For accom, it is a studio loft, space is definitely much bigger than hotel room. The view of the city is definitely a plus point.
2. This place provides either free airport drop off or pick up if you stay more than 3 nights
3. Operators are friendly and helpful. Provide value add service. E.g. Assist to book Famous Wuji Beef hotpot, order supper via *******, free soya milk & fruits every evening, free satay sauce as souvenir. A very nice touch. Do remember to add their wechat for all kinds of travel tips.
4. For location, near shopping street 5mins walk. MixC shopping mall, Sunming. 15 mins walk to Longyan South Rd Food St. Many eateries around the area.
Cons
1. It is run like a Airbnb/ homestay hence don’t expect cleanliness and amenities on par as those hotel chain.
2. They provide one time recycle bath towel that is a turn off for me. Prefer thick hotel bath towel.
3. The washing machine does not come with dryer function.
Overall, it is was a pleasant stay. Suitable will for families with elderly or children. Not for fussy travellers.

GGośćWow, Shantou is a great city. My first visit here and I went to the ”renovated” section, the park, zoo. I had cycled here from Longyan and was heading to Shenzhen and wanted to see Shantou which is a friend's home city. The hotel was great, very central.

Everyone at the front desk is friendly and helpful. The boss even helped me with booking a Didi on checkout date.
Location is excellent too surrounded by nice food and places of interests.

GGośćFirstly, we were misguided to think that this is a homestay i.e. a building with a few rooms out for rent. It is actually a modern apartment but scattered over 2 separate high rise blocks. So our group of 4 families had to stay in different blocks due to room configuration. One block has one room whilst the other has 2 rooms. Putting that aside, the accommodation was good. Clean and spacious. The owner was very accommodating as one of the room’s bedding configuration was not suitable for one family but he immediately appointed another unit for them so it was resolved. Beware of the very hard bed even for my standard! There is a washing machine in the unit and a little patio with a fridge and sink but no cooking facilities. Kettle and chinese tea provided and our room has a projector! Dunno how to switch on for shows though due to remote all in chinese. Location was strategic but we had own transporter so it didn’t matter but easily walkable to eateries and convenience store.

GGośćStaff is friendly, helpful and approachable. Places of interest are within walking distance. However, room's soundproof is bad. There is only a narrow sliding window in my room which does not give an external view as it is blocked. As such room ventilation is poor. I wouldn't recommend for long stay. For the price I paid, I think I can get better accommodation.

YYinlingyi設施：房間設施蠻新的，而且這次入住的體驗很好，也沒有之前來汕頭這種黴雨的味道，可能也跟季節有關係，整體房間很新。
衞生：衞生也不錯，還會及時詢問需不需要打掃衞生，也不會過多的打擾。
環境：環境挺好的，在一個停車場裏面，出去離步行街啊，萬象城都不是很遠，一個比較居中的位置。而且這邊呢，小電動是非常方便的，去到哪裡都很不錯。
服務：服務很好，入住完以後加了管家的聯繫會給我發一些攻略，還有周邊好吃的一些清單，感覺非常的貼心。

Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple.
The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay.
The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again.
The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive.
Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.

AAnonimowy użytkownikWe all together 3 couples checked in 3 hotel rooms at Jinjiang Inn at Shantou 20-22 Dec 2023. We should thumbs up to the on-duty gentleman/manager with a technician who offered his kind service to open up a faulty locked travel baggage belonged to our team-mate after we checked in. Although the hotel is not in the busy city center, it is near to public bus stations for 10 minute ride to Shantou famous old business district /小公园 packed with visitors . We also found that the stall opposite the hotel offered delicious braised pork at very reasonable prices ! Also, we are thankful to the young lady on-duty at the reception for her quick response to our request for a SUV that took us to Chaozhou on 22 Dec. The decent Chinese breakfast at the hotel was acceptable if not compared to 4/5-star rated. Overall we were happy during our stay at Jinjiang Inn Shantou
